I starting buying these albums 9 years ago when my first child was born to hold all of the snaphots. Now we have 3 kids and I have them each with their own color. For a busy working mom, I find it easy to keep up on the organizing of pictures. I almost freaked one year when they were sold out of most of my colors. Thankfully, they keep them coming.I guess I have a fear of disorganization, my mom had all of our pictures thrown in a box, so I didn't want my photos to end up that way. I am getting ready to order 2 more so I think I will have 12.
They are fairly sturdy but not something that you would want to be handling everyday.

I've been watching this album for years thinking what a perfect gift it would be- and I still think that once the pictures are in it, what a great gift it will be!

-however- I will give you MY impression of this book. It is GREAT when used for archiving pictures! And the personalization makes it sooo much more special!! :)

It is a bit annoying trying to load the pictures into the slots because the two columns are so close to each other- however, once those pictures are in there, they look very nice :) In other words, the one who receives this book full of pictures will LOVE it! The one who has to load the pictures will be annoyed temporarily-

The book unfolds to be rather large and you CANNOT just sit down and open it on your lap to look at it- you would need to set the entire thing on a large table before you can look at the pictures. If you want a small coffee table book with some pictures, this is NOT the book for you.

I also worry about the folds and binding on the book; it feels a little bit fragile to me- but with gentle care, this book will be a great possession- and looks very nice!!

For someone that values pictures as much as I do (and takes as many as I do) this DOES make a great gift- just make sure that the person you give it to will take good care of it- EXAMPLE I would NOT give this to a graduating senior who will be heading off to college and moving around for the next 10 or so years- but I WOULD absolutely give this to my Grandma and mother who have a perfect spot on their shelf waiting to hold this treasure trove of pictures and will be great for getting out everytime "great aunt barb" stops by for a visit! :) :)

I liked the idea and design, I have about 10 of them.. but there is one thing I dont like ... I don't like the material ... It is made of paper not even a strong paper... It tears very easily... I have to handle it with very careful ... don't drag or slide it because it will be torn or scratched by doing that... If they improve the material (use stronger or more durable) , this product will be perfect one!!! I REALLY LOVE THE IDEA AND DESIGN

I've ordered several of these in the past and have been satisfied. On my last order however I was not aware that your personalization will not appear as you type it on the order form. They use all capitol letters which makes the personalization look awkward with a last name starting with "Mc" etc. I would not recommend as this product is no longer "personalized" to your specifications.

I have 22 of these albums currently. Each of my children have their own personalized books. Also, we have family albums that are numbered. It is so much fun to pull out these albums when family come over to visit...especially family that we haven't seen for awhile. It is really easy to stay on top of picture organizing when you have an album like this. The construction isn't the very best, but you can't expect THE BEST at this great price! It was exactly what I expected.

I too am a scrapbooker, but I have tons of my husbands old pictures that I wanted to get out of boxes. My mom has a similar photo album that I really liked and thought that this one was going to be very similar, but with personalization! Boy was I wrong! The personalization was not centered and gold flakes were all over the cover. The album is poorly made and will do the job if you do not view those pictures frequently. I used them and they did the job, but I was very disappointed with the quality!

bought three of these- one for myself and two for my grandparents- love them- they hold tons of pics!! the plastic sleeves are a bit flimsy, but they will do the job- wish they would come out w/ more colors!!

What a great gift to give to family members ! I thought the constructions was good considering the price. I was very pleased. Ordered one for each of my children & their families ! I am a scrapbooker who takes TONS of pictures. However, those of you who scrapbook know it is way too time consuming to scrapbook everything. These albums are perfect for what I call general family pictures!! I have these albums in many colors sitting in a bookcase in my family room. They look great! The only problem I have with them is that they scratch and dent fairly easily.

Well, I have to say how disappointed I am. My Mom bought this for me so I could put all of my "table camera" photos from my wedding in it. The first album that came had the insides of the letters "O", "A" & "D" all filled in. My Mom called & told them about the problem & they sent out a second album. The second album had gold paint splatters on the white part of the album & the personalization was crooked. We called again & they sent out a third album. However, the third album's personalization was WAY off center; the wording was all the way to the left side of the album. So, after three attempts, we just got our money back. Very, very disappointed.

I have enjoyed this photo album. Although it took some time in loading the pictures It holds them well. I was even able to put the doubles in the same sleave so I had 2 per side. I plan on converting all my albums to this one. I just wish it held more photos but maybe I just have too many photos. :)

This is a great bridal shower or baby shower gift. It's not expensive and yet means so much. I received hundreds of pictures from my family and friends from my recent wedding and this was a great suppliment to our professional photo album. My sister recently had a baby girl and I plan on giving her one to document the next few years and all of her baby girl's firsts!

Love this photo album... I have 8 and I'm about to add two more. I'm not into scrapbooking but it's important to me to have an organized system to display and store all my photos. My little kids can look through the photos easily. It's quick to load them, too. Good space saver.

I can't believe all the positive reviews for this item. Although the price is right, the quality is very poor. IT IS NOT DURABLE! I purchased this for my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. The sleeves are so thin that they wrinkle when inserting photos. The binding cracked before I could even give it to my parents and the handle was already pulling away.

The book cover appears to be two-toned for some reason, almost as if it faded on the top third section. I don't know why that would be but it is two different shades on the one I received. There is no labelling system, so it's difficult to categorize photos (or quickly find specific events) but, overall, it serves its function of storing many photographs. I'm still iffy on if I'd recommend this product or would buy it again.

I purchased one for our family for all of our beach photos. I am amazed at how many I have been able to put in already and I still have room for more trips. It was a lot larger than I expected. I wanted to leave it out so everyone could see them. It is a little awkward for company to just look at it in their lap.

I have also purchased another one for my mom for a Christmas gift for displalying the grandchildren. It does hold all the photos you want to show off.

I loved this album a lot. I already had 4 of them at home. It is very useful, specially if you want to keep all your photos into one album this will be the best photo album for you! Each of my children has this album with their name,birth date on it in-front. So, every special moment, photos and memories of their life as they gets older are all in the album.

I already have 10 of these albums filled!!! I LOVE these albums. We had to evacuate and it was very quick to grab my "memories" and head out the door without scrambling around to try and find all the different photo albums. The best feature, in my opinion, is the ability to personalize it. Love it!!!
I would be careful putting the pictures in, though. If you pull too hard, the plastic sleeves come unglued from the backing. But I don't have a problem with superglue, so it was an easy fix. I plan on continuing to order more as the years go by. My only con is that they no longer carry red.

I finally found a way to neatly showcase all my favorite photos from throughout the years. Since each of these albums holds so many pics (400), I can quickly 'flip' through the many memories at will. I'm ordering my "Volume III" now. It took me a while to get all my digital pics in month-year folders on the computer and then order my favorite prints, so that the pics are actually in order as you progress through the album(s). The effort is well worth it though; I have ten years concisely packaged in two albums. (Obviously having kids increases your photos/year!) I don't feel like my digital photos are being wasted anymore! There are even notes at the bottom of each column for writing any details of each pic, with coordinating numbers. I recommend pencil and only then once you're sure you have all pics from your own and family's collections you want in there consecutively. A friend turned me onto this a couple of years ago and I would recommend to any other friend who's equally desirous to be organized yet feeling out of control with photos! The only negative thing I can say is that the material is a hard cardboard underneath the waterproof outside and can be damaged/scrunched on the corners if not careful. Also be careful when taking pictures in and out a lot to shuffle around initially, so as not to rip the plastic sleeves at all...
