I bought and use it to recycle paper-wasn't that the main purpose from which other ideas grew? It's contemporary/rustic and can be kept out in the kitchen,laundry room-wherever recycles are kept so you can remember that it isn't just "another pretty face".Or in family room. Love it.
Now if only wood & wicker storage modules would have a price reduction...

This is nothing like it shows on the picture. I bought it as a nice basket to store my daughter's toys in the living room area. I keep it in the back corner of her room. It's flimsy and doesn't keep it's shape.

Rcv'd this as a gift, several years ago. We use it anytime we go to someone's house and have to bring things, especially to Grandma & Grandpa's. We can put many things of different sizes, shapes, weight, etc and it's easy to carry. Folds up when not in use. Very functional when used this way.

Very cute for storing my notebooks, magazines and old cd's in my office. I knew that the bins did not have wire inserts, and ordered them anyway. They work well - just be sure to stuff them as tight as possible. Actually, I had my husband pack the bins to make them super tight!

These bins are perfect to pick up toddler's toys. They can access the toys easily and when they are done you can just throw the toy into the bin for easy cleanup. I also use them for children's books and puzzles, and magazines.

I recycle newspapers for our church. The Jute Bin is a very pretty way to store them. It looks great and it is easy to put in the trunk and take to the recycle bin.

Kind of flimsy by itself, but I put the metal newspaper holder (that I was throwing out) inside the basket. It's now perfect and the newspapers don't slide out of the holder like before.

Thought this basket would work well to corral all the magazines and newspapers that pile up. Alas, it was just too floppy. I was expecting a somewhat hard-sided basket, but this one is very soft and flimsy. Not what I expected.

I liked the look of this storage basket in the magazine but when I started using it, I thought it made my living room look messy. We use it to store my 1-year old daughter's books, and when it isn't completely filled up, the sides cave in and it looks sloppy. I was disappointed.

This Wide Jute storage bin is great. My husband and I bought three of them for our households particular needs. We store DVD's, VHS tapes, our childrens toys and books and our magazines in them. They are an attractive alternative to shelves or plastic storage bins because they are all natural. They can hold quite a bit of stuff. If you don't fill them up though the sides fall into themselves. The only set back to these bins that I found was that I thought when they arrived they would have some sort of sturdy cardboard or wood placed at the bottom to hold their form incase they are not filled up completely. However, this is not the case. The bottom of the bin is just the Jute fabric. So, you will either have to place something like that inside it yourself or go without. I would recommend this storage bin though to folks who want some classy but natural storage space.

This Jute storage bin is great. We got three of them to store all of our magazines, videos, DVD's and toys in. It keeps them all neat and organized. The price we paid couldn't be beat either. Although they are very strong, as far as material wise, you have to really fill them up to get them to stand up without the sides kind of falling in on themselves. The only issues I had with this storage bin was that I thought it would come with a piece of sturdy cardboard or wood at the bottom of it to help keep its shape even if it was not completely full. But it doesn't come with anything like that. So, you need to put something like that in there yourself or, as I stated before, really fill it up to avoid the sides falling in on themselves. However, if your family is like ours, filling these bins up will not be a problem and I highly recommend them.

I use this bin in my livingroom for all of my 2year old's books. It holds all of them. I was suprised at the large size and how durable it is. A great buy!

I love this product. It holds all of my husband's magazines that he use to have lying around. There is a lot of room in the bin and the handles make it easy to move around.

This basket is great. It is very versitle. We use it to hold our newspapers next to our wood burning stove. I was surprised when I received the basket because I thought the container would be much more stiff, however the material more resembles a clothlike material. Another nice feature is that this basket folds up relatively flat, so it can be put away if needed. I would highly recommend this product.
