Comments about Lillian Vernon Park-a-Purse Organizer:

I am completely disappointed with this product ... it is nothing more than a cardboard box with sections & was complicated to put together. Definitely not worth the price I paid for it - if returning wasn't such a hassle I would undoubtedly send this item back.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Park-a-Purse Organizer:

The organizer could have been just what I was looking for if the bins were a little larger. Must have used tiny purses in the ad. The coated cardboard is not what the price dictated. It was a little difficult to put together at first, but got easier to assemble at the end. Pricey for the quality of the shelving. Works for now.

Perfect for any closet. Get the pile up off the floor or off the hanger & display your purses properly. I just wish it was made of a sturdier material. For the price, you should receive two.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Park-a-Purse Organizer:

For the price, it was much too expensive for cardboard. The organizer is a great idea but the product could have been made much better.

I question how durable it will be over time.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Park-a-Purse Organizer:

It is plastic coated cardboard but the way you put it together will provide extra strength. The directions are a bit lacking but once I started the assembly, it all became clear. I think it's a little over-priced for what it's made out of but the closet space it provided is priceless.

Great if your purses aren't too big
By Practical but forgivingVerified Purchaser from San Antonio, TX on 10/7/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy to Move
Cons:
Bulky, Flimsy, Not Enough Storage
Best Uses:
Closet, Space Saver
Describe Yourself:
Homeowner, Professional
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Park-a-Purse Organizer:

The photograph is great but you don't get an accurate sense of how big the purses are. I have a lot of totes (being a professional AND mom of 2 tots). None of them fit. I also have a purse with longer straps that don't bend and that doesn't fit. Conceptually it's nice. It is a more durable cardboard but still cardboard. Because of this, I think [$] is a bit much for it.

[...] was the only company that offered a purse organizer. It was such a good design and so roomy that I ordered two (I have lots of purses). It could have been a tad sturdier but I suppose that would have made it too heavy to lift onto the shelf of the closet. Great idea!

This product is wonderful. I bought one to hold my purses and ordered a second one. My purses now have a neat, orderly home! The description of this item is accurate--coated cardboard. The step-by-step directions are easy to follow. The dimensions are given in the description (please measure first, then you'll know if it will fit on top of your closet shelf).

Comments about Lillian Vernon Park-a-Purse Organizer:

I've been looking for a purse organizer for years. It's really great for keeping my handbags upright and it allows me to view my whole collection. My handbags are now all organized...it's wonderful! Here's a helpful hint regarding a review I read...first, fold the locking tabs in-half (there's a fold line on the tabs), then slide into the slits to secure the panels together.

It makes my closet so much neater and my purses are easy to get to without having them stacked on top of each other, straps entangled, etc. I wish my closet had enough room for 2 of these. Plus, you can use them for a lot of items not just purses.

I thought for what I paid, this would have been like a piece of furniture. It is only coated cardboard. It took me 10-15 min to assemble. You just have to read carefully and follow the instructions. It's practical and does what I need it to do like hold my shoes and purses, but it should cost like only [$] at most.

This is a great concept and surprisingly durable considering it is only cardboard. But it was rediculously hard to assemble. The tabs would not fit in the slots and I had to rip the tabs off and tape them in order to put it together. But it suits it's purpose as a purse organizer and looks good it my closet.
