I've had my keychain for about a year now and I really like it. The names are easy to read still. Maybe I like it because I don't like flashy things and this is a great subtle keychain. The engraving is awful!! I should have read the reviews but I was so excited that it was only [$] Now I know why it was that cheap. It's because it looks cheap. Don't get me wrong the key chain itself is pretty heavy duty but the engraving is so light that I had to move my keys around for fear that if the metal ones were close to the design it wouldn't last more than a month. I looked at it today after a week of using it and I am very upset by the scratches because they are just about as deep as the engraving.

My husband gave this key ring to me as a Christmas present. He told me about the reviews that said the engraving was hard to see, but I wanted it anyway. And I am so GLAD that I did. My key ring with my two little girls on there was PERFECT, and VERY EASY to see. And it still looks very good, and I've dropped it a few times on concrete. Very durable and CUTE!!!!

I agree with everyone that the engraving is extremely light and hard to see, but I took a blue washable marker and colored over the engraving, then wiped it with a cloth and the marker came off the plate but stayed down in the engraving. This made it much easier to read and everyone that sees it just absolutely loves it. Such a great idea and it gives me a chance to talk about my boys when someone compliments my keychain.
