I ordered two set of these for my daughters. We live two hours from the grandparents and go to visit at least once a month and spend the weekend. Anyway I came across these and purchased them for upcoming birthdays and overall I am very pleased. They look really cute and I love that they are personalized so we know whose is whose. My only concern is that they will not last more than a year or two with regular use. Hopefully I will be wrong about this. Also the backpack, which I though would be great for toys is super small. It works great for my two year old size wise but holds very little. Because I got the set on sale I am not complaining too much.
I purchased this product for my 4 year old niece. I didn't want a large bag...just big enough to tote around a few small toys or books and easy enough for her to carry. Once I received the item, I was disappointed by the size, quality and personalization of the item. It really is very small and the quality of the straps is marginal. Also, I had the item personalized with a name beginning with an "I" and it turned out to look more like a "T". However, it's impossible to know because this item didn't have an option to preview the personalized item as others do.
I called customer service and expressed my concerns about the personalization not looking quite right. The representative offered to send out another item to see if it turned out more to my satisfaction. However, after talking it through she ended up recommending another item, slightly bigger and what seems like it will be a better choice for my needs. I am pleased with how my first experience with this company has turned out.
I use these for when we go visit family for the weekend with my 4 year old. It's the perfect size for a couple of days away. Wish it had more pockets, but it's still great!
I've given the set as a gift to just about every one of the kids amongst my friends and family, as well as my 3 sons for the past 10 years. I've gotten so many positive responses from everyone that received them. It's such a classic bag and never goes out of style.

My daughter received this set as a gift for her first Birthday, and I love it! The large bag is perfect for weekend traveling, though I would prefer pockets/dividers on the inside. The small backpack is perfect for her toys. This makes a great gift for any child at any age. Great price for the quality and usefulness of this product!
I have purchased these bags for my 3 kids and 6 nieces and nephews along w/ 4 of my friends' kids! We all love them! Personalization makes it easy to know whose stuff is where when they all spend the night at Grandma's - especially because boys have primary, girls have pink! Very durable and practical - roomy design and easy for the kids to carry by themselves! I highly recommend these bags!
My mother bought these bags when my girls were small to travel to Gramdma's house for overnights. They still use them for sleepovers and they are now 14 & 17. They have grown up with these bags have to be over ten years old and still work . I do recomend buying the biggest ones because they will have them and use them forever !! My girls have unusual names so the personalized bags is why they have kept them and they never get lost at friends, relatives, even our Disney Cruise. We know in the airport whos bags those are!! I bought the set for my son in 1992, and another in 1994 for my other son. They used those bags for 10-12 yrs. No kidding. I have since purchased this same set for numerous nieces and nephews. Everyone loves them. Especailly nowadays with the odd spellings of names, the personalization is much appreciated. Great product.

The smaller size is just perfect for toddlers, and I bought three for my grandchildren. The oldest (almost 3) was so thrilled she had to put some treasures in it right away and put it on. It gets used every day. The material is soft and the handles are nylon, not any plastic. Good Value!

I bought this for my son to put his toys in while running errands or trips to see friends/family. It is a big hit! He uses at home for play as well. I should have bought one long ago. I could have used it for that potty training stage when a full diaper bag is just too much.
I purchased this bag for my daughter when she was 5 years old. She is now 14 and still loves to carry it...This bag is unique, colorful (which my daughter loved) and can take a beating. It even washes good. I would definitely recommend it!!!

I first purchased these when my daughter was 3 and son 1yr. They are now 15 & 13. We used them up till a year ago (because they decided they wanted something else now) They are still in great shape. The vinyl liner did tear on my sons but he was rough with it. However, it didn't tear until 3 years ago, which means it was 9 years old. The lettering is still intact the same as the day we received it. I've washed them 4 times a year since we bought them, they've held up beautifully. I also purchased them for my sister's 5 children around the same time I bought them for us and added them as the last 2 were born. They still use them. The oldest is now 16. They are great for weekend trips and vacations. For younger children up to about age 8-9 you can actually fit a weeks worth of clothes for all seasons. Older children a weeks worth of summer will fit. Unless they are teenage girls who take 3 outfits for each day. LOL My sister & I both absolutely love these. And I am now getting ready to purchase one for our first grandchild from our 25yr old son. He never had one when he was little. But he always thought it was cool.

This is great for my 2 year old when he goes to Mother's Day Out. It is big enough for his lunch and the little pocket holds his lovey, Rabbit. I opted to have his name monogramed rather than the stick-on letters. He loves wearing his backpack to "school."

Just recieved this for my almost 2 year old son and I had to chase him to get the bag back to fill it he liked it so much. The carryall is great for visits to Grandma and PopPop's house...his diaper bag is worn out and not exactly fitting for a toddler who wants to be a "big boy" now. I have his essentials in the bag and there's still plenty of room for more...more than adequate for my current needs. He really likes putting some of his favorite little toys in the backpack and carrying it around.
Haven't used it yet so I don't know how durable it is but I'm happy with it so far.
I bought his for my son to take to the church nursery. We alo use it for eating out, errands. He loves it.

I got this for my 2-year-old to take to Mother's Day Out. He loves it and it's the perfect size for him. It holds about 3-4 diapers, an extra pair of shorts, and a travel container of baby wipes.

Love it so much I got one for my daughter too! We received as a gift a year ago for my son and it fits him perfectly (he's 4 now). We use it to take his toys everywhere we go when running errands. It keeps my hands-free b/c he carries it on his back. Love the colors. I can't wait until my daughter (who's 6 months) can use it for her dolls!

I purchased one for my oldest son and other family members from Lillian Vernon 14 years ago that looked the same in the catalog now. The others were larger and had embroidered names. I was disappointed at first, but things change and if I had never seen the others I would have loved this right off the bat. I ordered several as Christmas gifts. It is wonderful for the must reach quickly items that get buried in the diaper bags or lost in the vehicle, like pacifiers, teething rings, etc..

Very good bag for a small child. We use this bag for eating out or trips. I pack some crayons, a few small books, kleenex, and a snack. We just take the backpack into the restaurant and we have items to help entertain our little boy.
Definately not a bag for larger items - but a cute little bag for a few items to help entertain little ones without the bulk of a large backpack.

The only cons I have are that the straps tend to start coming off my son's shoulders after we are walking awhile. Also it is just a little small, after we put a change of cloths, some wipes if we make a mess, and a snack, that is all that fits in the backpack. He likes to have his cup with him but he does not always want to carry it. It would be great if it was just a little bigger to fit it. Although, my son (2 years old) loves it because it fits perfectly on his back. The other backpacks we have are too bulky and he will not wear them. So over all I am very satisfied with the product.

I first received this personalized bag for my new baby (who is now 12 years old) as a gift. I thought it was adorable! My cousin continued to purchase "new baby" bags for the rest of my 4 children and we use them all the time! The last several years I have purchased these personalized [...] bags for all my friends and family as a gift for their new babies, and I get lots of positive feedback! A couple of the premature babies needed to remain in the hospital after birth and their moms loved using the bags for the hospital trips. We use our bags for weekends at grandma's, as carry-ons on the airplane, for sleep-overs at friends, and camping! I have really enjoyed these bags and would highly recommend them to others! The only negative thing that has happened is that the plastic liner ended up tearing in my oldest son's bag and his name lettering has faded, but this was to be expected after countless washings and abuse over the last 11 years. Definitely well-worth the money! We continue to use our bags year after year!
The bag itself is very nice and very practical. I was not happy with the personalization. It was just iron on lettering. I was expecting embroidery.
The bag is a good deal for the money. It is bright colors and the name on the front is really cute. The material it is made out of is really thin but I don't think it is going to rip, seems tough.
Great for toddlers in Mothers Day Out or Preschool. Items not too big and the backpack is perfect for my 2 yr. old! She loves to carry it!
