Comments about Lillian Vernon My First Camera:

I just got this in the mail today and I opened it and was very disappointed in the quality of the camera. It looked like it had been used, and it has scratches on it. The film door wont stay closed very well. It doesn't even have a dual viewfinder like it says.

Comments about Lillian Vernon My First Camera:

I bought this camera as a "first" camera for my two oldest children. I loved the carry case but the camera was a cheap plastic and we've had problems getting it to work from the beginning. The final straw was that it would not rewind the film. I give up. I'm planning to return the product.

Comments about Lillian Vernon My First Camera:

This was to be a gift for my 6 year old grandson for Christmas. How disappointing! The film was difficult to advance, the shutter did not work and then we could not get the flash to work with two different sets of brand new Energizer batteries. Ruined two packs of 35 mm film trying to get it to work. Sad little boy.

My son took it on vacation but had a hard time winding/advancing the film. I think we may have broken it trying to get the film to advance. The mechanism needs work, very hard for little hands (5 years old) and adult hands as well. Haven't had the photos developed yet, can't get film out of camera. Will have to send whole camera out.............

Comments about Lillian Vernon My First Camera:

i really like the idea of a durable camera for my 6yr old.. he loves to take pictures.. my only issue with this product is the difficulty my son has advancing the film. His fingers are so small and there is not much strength in his thumb to roll the advancer. He has broken his nail trying to advance the film so i do it for him....to date, We have yet to finish a roll of film ... other than that we love the camera.
