I had the older passport and the new chipped passport and both fit perfectly. I bought one for my husband and myself a few years ago and dont see how others say it doesnt fit when you are only suppose to fit the back cover of the passport into the pocket. I plan to buy two more for my son who has to have two passports.

Personalization was carelessly stamped on and smeared terribly. Looked awful! I had ordered for a gift but it was so bad I wouldn't give it.

I like it, I received mine today.
I did read the other comments first before I ordered, and I was a little scared that it wouldn't fit. So, I waited till my passport came in and measured the LxWxH. After I did so I chose to order 2 (one for me and 1 for my Fiance), and now I absolutely love them. My Fiance is about to order his passport from the same place I did so I know his will fit too :)

I purchased this passort case about three years ago for a daughter that was getting her first passport - it fit perfectly. I just purchased it for another daughter that was also getting her first passport, and this passport does not fit. How disappointing. After reading the reviews I took a chance and purchased it, even though some of the reviewers said theirs did not fit. For an older passport, it appears to fit, but for these new ones, THEY DO NOT FIT!!!

I was a little nervous about buying this item because there were so many reviews that said that the passport pocket is not large enough for the new passports... however, if you just slip the back cover inside the pocket instead of the whole passport, it works like a charm!

Its a great gift!

I purchased 4 cases and LOVE them! They were gifts for family before a big trip and it was nice for everyone to have their own color and stay organized! The cases are very compact which I love. Our passports (issued in 2005) fit perfectly in the cases, as well as ID's and boarding passes. I am told my other family members about them and they are buying their own!!! =)

I read all the mixed reviews on this product and still ordered it. I thought the problem might be caused by the fact that the newer passports they have started issuing are larger. My older passport I have had for three years fit snuggly in, but with no problems. However, my parents passport has the new computer chip in it and those passports are slightly larger. The newer ones will not fit in this, but my older one fit fine. It is nice for the price....a good little gift for a seasoned traveler who has the older passport.

A passport cannot fit in this holder. I even tried to place only the back cover as suggested and ripped the cheap stitching. Who tests this before they sell it!!!

I ordered 5 cases and I am going to return these items due to the fact that the Passports do not fit the case. The top stitching is a light beige on all three color choices of red, brown and black. It is not the quaility I had hoped.

Perfect for traveling abroad. My passport fit perfectly and the ID slot was perfect and handy for my license. The little pen was also very nice since I did not carry a pocketbook most of the trip. The different colors made it very easy to identify, when grabbing each family members passport out of a bag.

This was a great purchase. I purchased one for my husband and one for myself. I am today purchasing three more for our children. Some stated it was to small for the passport. We only put one end of the passport in the slot and it folds over so that when you open the passport cover the passport will be open. There is no problem with this and it fits just fine. I agree if you want to keep it closed then it is very snug.

The leather is nice and the pockets hold just the right amount of credit cards and id we take with us on trips. Very nice product at a great price!

I was excited to find this wallet. I was excited when it arrived. It is well constructed, functional and attractive. I returned this wallet, as the slot for the passport was just a tad too small. It was too tight and difficult to put the passport in and take it out.

passport (2007 issued) only fits when forced, pen doesn't write, it is very small (only 2 cards and ID), i wish it was bigger. [...] on the plus side, i ordered the blue and red and they are very bright, nice colors and the monogram is shiney silver.

I was extremely disappointed that I ordered this specifically for my passport and my offical passport was 1/4 inch to big to slide into the pocket that was labeled for it. Not a useful product!

The workmanship is excellent and the colors true. However, I ordered them before our new passports arrived and they just won't fit no matter what I do. I tried stretching them, but it's far too difficult to insert and extract the passports. I will be returning them.

Very happy with these items! I purchased a different color for each member of the family. Different colors made it easier to look in my purse & quickly tell which case belongs to which family member (rather than opening each one or looking for the monogram).
