Very happy with this!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Teacher's Solid Wood Notepad Box:

I was a little skeptical about this and was not expecting much when I ordered it, but figured I had time to return it if I was really disappointed. I am so happy I ordered it! The box looks beautiful, the apple plaque and personalization are perfect. After handling it, it seems sturdy. Yes, the sticky notes it comes with are not what I would describe as ideal, but I don't think finding bigger one's will be a big deal for me. I might look around to find something creative to put in it anyways.

Gave as Christmas gifts last year. Bought 4 of these for my team members, two of them were shattered when they arrived. Sent them back, the replacements came back shattered as well. By that point it was too late to order new ones, so I had to glue them together and hope they held up. They broke because they were not packaged poorly. No styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap, just in a plastic envelope. Of course they were going to break. Got no help from customer service either.

I just received this item and was afraid to open it because for [$] I was afraid it would be low quality...NOT TRUE! I was very impressed...I think it is a great gift for a child to give a teacher. I thought some of these reviews were quit critical consider the gift only cost [$]...with that said...mine came completely together and I don't really care that the paper is smaller than the box...I doubt the receiver will either :)

Pros:

Cons:

Best Uses:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Teacher's Solid Wood Notepad Box:

I really liked the deep wood tones and the quality seems pretty sturdy. The engraving is a great plus but is very faint. Post it notes where inside - not customized paper as shown in picture. A little disappointed that the picture looks much better than acutal product but for the money you can't beat it!
