The initial site indicated the use of an "N" battery and every place I went said "never heard of the 'N' battery"...or "not even made"..etc.
My discomfort comes as this is a gift...can anyone indicate the source of such battery? I agree that such item should be enclosed or at least directions and where to locate.

The product information listed on this site beside the picture says you will need one "n" battery. The clock itself says um-5 in the place for a battery. I love everything about the clock except that since this is obviously a specialty battery it should come with it or at least tell me where to find one.

I purchased this item as a gift and was very pleased with it. It is a heavy, solid plane. The clock face is easy to remove for batteries and changing the time. I got two initials engraved and they are on the top of the left wing. Great product!
