Broken before first use.
By Sea SoulVerified Purchaser from AL on 10/21/2007
Cons:
Unstable
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Sat unlevel when put together. Not sturdy enough for my large cook books. When I tried to adjust the stand to make it level, it broke in half.

I love mine.

slightly crooked
Best Uses:
Kitchen

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Mine is fine. It is a little crooked, but not so much it affects the value or purpose. It is iron, so it will last forever, very durable. Love the bookmarks. It is pretty much what I expected. Overall, good product, good value.

Unstable
By Disney FanVerified Purchaser from NY on 7/3/2007
Cons:
Low Quality
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The isle looks fine but it doesn't stand level. The cheap rubber washers that are included hold the book rest tilted. The more you tighten the washers the more tilted it is.

I have bought this product twice
By Beth from San Antonio, Texas on 6/18/2007
Pros:
Good Value
Cons:
Slightly shaky
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have had this product for several years now and it holds ALL of my cookbooks thick and thin, heavy and light. I especially love the page holders that stabilize the pages. I am ordering a second one to go with my new wallpaper in my kitchen and my sister in law is ecstatic to get my old one.

Much Smaller than Expected!
By AvaVerified Reviewer from Tennessee on 6/3/2007
Pros:
Decorative
Cons:
Low Quality, Not Very Sturdy
Best Uses:
To display small cookbook
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The product was much smaller than it appeared in the advertisement. It is also not very sturdy and can not hold anything except very small, light-weight cookbooks. I was disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship of the product.
