My son loves this robe. It's not as thick as I had hoped it would be, but it's still warm. I definitely recommend buying large. My son is 3 1/2, 40 inches tall and 36 pounds and I bought the size 10. I cuff the sleeves once and it goes to his knees so I love the fit and he has room to grow.

Cute Robe, but 2 1/2 yr old won't wear

This robe is really cute and durable but I can't get my son to wear it because he says it is itchy. What he is talking about is the sewn applique on the back of the robe. The thread is really scratchy. I have washed it twice since getting it and have tried to pick off the "picky" parts. I think it has to be washed a few more times.

This was a 3rd bday gift for my son. He feels like a big boy wearing his new robe. Wears it after bath every night.

I got each of my three grandsons and my younger granddaughter a personalized robe, each of a different design suitable to his/her personality. My older granddaughter had received one years ago. They all love wearing them, and it's easier for me than using so many pool or beach towels. The robes stay at Grandmommy's house, but they each want another one to take home--so I'm thinking about it.

My 2 year old son loves this robe!

Great robe...He loves to wear it after his baths all year long. His first robe (gift from much grandma)lasted about a year and a half, went through a major move, and multiple washings before it started to wear down the fabric. I was so happy with the durability that we ordered him a new one to replace it. He was thrilled!
