After reading other reviews, I ordered 2 sizes up. He is usually a 5/6, and the size 10 fits great with room to grow. I just cuffed the sleeves. It is great quality and he loves it. I strongley suggest going 2 sizes up.

My 4 year old LOVES his cover up. He uses it as a robe, as it is "just like Daddy's". I am glad I read the reviews, though, and ordered him a size bigger that normal, because it fits perfectly. My son is 42" and 42 pounds and wears a boys 6 in shirts. I ordered him an 8 and it fits well with a little room to grow! The patches are high quality and the personalization looks nice.

I was having a hard time finding a terry cloth bathrobe I could put on my son after swimming. This one is just perfect! And he loves the fireman design. I love the tie that is attached. For pool use, it would be nice if it had a hood, but I know that's not necessary for indoor use. My only complaint is that it isn't quite as big as I had hoped. My son is 4 1/2, but a bit large for his age (50 lbs, 44 inches), and I ordered the size 8, hoping he'd be able to wear it for years to come. While it is a tad big on him, he probably could have easily worn the size 10 (with the sleeves rolled up).
