If you wear big old style trucker hats with the huge rims and plastic mesh backs this may work for your hats. I completly agree with other comments. When I put my husbands hats on the rack they have to be balanced perfectly or they just fall out the bottom. Forget using it over a door because if the door moves at all they all fall out. I am sending it back because it doesn't work for any of the hats I have. Good idea, but too wide for practical use.

Thought this would be a great way to store my husbands hats. Hats stayed in as long as you didn't have to take them out, then you had to remove just about all of them to get just one out. Nice idea, just poorly designed!!!

This looked like such a great idea, but it doesn't work at all. The hats kept falling out because the bars were spaced just a little too far apart to hold them in securely. My husband threw it out the last time he came in and they were all over the floor of the closet!
