Comments about Lillian Vernon Weekdays Organizer:

My son's has lasted 5 years and I love being organized in the morning. My daughter's fell apart. I haven't used them differently. I'm buying it again and will make sure my daughter stays out of the closet.

I bought one to help my 7 yr old daughter stay organized while getting ready for school each morning. It has done it's job. She gets the Weekday Organizer filled every weekend for the following week and has fun doing so.

I've been using this organizer for my son for about 2 years now. On Sunday, while we are putting his laundry away, we fill the organizer with his outfits for the week. It makes it easy in the morning. It still looks new today, too.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Weekdays Organizer:

I ordered two of these (one primary, one pastel). My son is 6, my daughter is 3 and we've been using my son's for 6 years now and it's just fine. I don't know if other people use them as ladders or what, but they are meant to hold ONE OUTFIT per cubby. I ironed the days of the week down(with a towel over the fabric so it didn't melt) so the days of the week were hanging straight down. It's proven to be a great time saver in the morning and ends the what-am-I-wearing-today dilemma or the I-don't-want-to-wear-that conflict. Helps instill self-esteem, too.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Weekdays Organizer:

Although this is attractive and initially worked well, it is very poorly constructed. The material is thin and not durable. I bought this in the fall for my 2 daughters who were starting school. They pick their clothes on the weekend for the upcoming week and it saves time in the morning. They get up and can get dressed without worrying about what to wear. Unfortunately, this product is not durable. One of them lasted 4 months and has compeltely ripped in half and has to be thrown away. The other one has ripped twice and I have had to duct tape the sides of it.

The concept is good. However, the construction materials were not sturdy. One organizer lasted about 2 weeks. The other one lasted about 4 months. I expected them to last at least the full school year!

My daughter loves to decide what she's going to wear for the week on Sunday nights...she enjoys putting each outfit in each slot. I too would love to see the actual days of the week hang down nicely so they are easily visible. She's 6 now and knows them, but has to pull the cloth down to see it. We are ordering one now for my son who is jealous that she has it.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Weekdays Organizer:

It was easy to set up in the closet. However with my kids holding onto the side of it for balance while reaching to get items placed in the top shelves, the fabric along the very top has ripped apart, basically the top box has slightly ripped away from the part that fits over the closet railing. It is still hanging but is slightly lop-sided now. Also, the small banners across the front of each space showing the days of the week stick straight out, instead of falling nicely down so that you can see the days (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) They need to be held down with something so the lettering can be seen as depicted in the catalog/online images. Don't let small kids climb on it or pull it so the top doesn't rip.
