I too was very excited when I placed my order. When I received it I expected it to be larger and within a few days the letters began to fall off. I think theres maybe 2 letters left. so I'm really disappointed.

The bag is worth what I paid I guess. It is sort of on the cheap side. The letters of my son's name were already lifting when I got it. But it serves the purpose and it wasn't expensive and my son loves it so all is well.

Comments about Lillian Vernon ABC/123 Primary Tote:

I purchased this primarily for my son to carry to preschool with the intent of the bag holding the coordinating lunch box and nap mat w/ pillow also featured in the Lillian Vernon catalog. It won't hold both simultaneously, and it is difficult to get the nap bag inserted.

The bag features a zippered compartment underneath which would be great for holding a change of clothes (but not large/deep enough for shoes).

The handles are very long, which is great if an adult is toting it, but they are too long for a preschooler to carry it w/o the bag dragging/being too low to the ground.

This bag would best be used to carry books and maybe a preschool bag if you do not have much stuff.

Comments about Lillian Vernon ABC/123 Primary Tote:

We were looking for something different than the every day themed bookbags; we found it with this ABC tote. The construction of this bag seems to be very durable; it is certainly very appealing to my son with the cars and trains on it. I wish the bag was about 1 to 2 inches longer, so that larger items would fit in it better. Overall, we are pleased with the product.
