I ordered 2 sets of pencils, one set had 8 purple pencils in it. I wouldn't have expected to see purple in the primary set, especially since a pastel set is offered. (these were for my son)

We buy these every year and use them in the classroom. It helps my son to tell his pencils from the others. No more, "Hey, that pencil is mine!" because YOU KNOW whose it is by the name on it! They cost a little more than pencils from [...], but it is worth it when you think of how many times a year you have to replace those that are mistaken by others to be their own!

We got 2-3 of each color. I know that the title of the product isn't "for boys" but I didn't want to get my son the pastels so I got these. He has 2 purple pencils. It's not too big of a deal because I will use them myself, but perhaps give the option of colors? Thanks!

The pencils arrived and they look great. However, my daughter and I were both frustrated by the fact that we did not receive all the colors that were pictured in the catalog. We received many of some colors but only one or none of others. The catalog photo definitely leads you to believe that you will receive a set of pencils in all the colors pictured there.

I got these pencils personalized for my 5 yr. old who is starting kindergarten. He is a good sharer, but really wants his things back when the borrower is done. Having his name on the pencils really help with him getting his pencils back..and helps reenforce the sharing.

These actually even help with my 2 sons sharing too!

It was nice to find some inexpensive personalized pencils. The erasers work well too. Some other pencils have cheap erasers that only smudge the pencil marks. These erasers actually remove the pencil marks so they are great for back-to-school. I will definitely order more!

I ordered these pencils with the impression that there were 6 colors in the assortment(2 of each). I received 7 Yellow, 3 Orange and 2 Green. I purchased them for 2 people hoping to spit the order. Not possible with the assortment sent. (same thing happened with my order of pastel colors.)

I was so disappointed with this order. I've ordered these same pencils several times in the past, and they were great. This time, I bought four sets of pencils with two different names, and all sets had bad personalization. The names were hardly visible on some, and there were some letters that were so faint you could hardly see them.

As a parent of a disorganized 7th grader, I orderd the pencils just to avoid the weekly notes about my son needing more pencils. I knew I was sending at least 5 to 10 pencils to school each week. For some reason, he continued to lose them. I ordered the personalized pencils out of desperation...but I have to say, so far it's working. The only thing I can think of adding would be a retractable carabiner clip so my son can keep one attached to him at all times.
