I bought this playset as a Christmas present for my friend's child and loved it so much that I bought one for my Children! Velcro is great to keep the little animals in their place - for play and storage.

The animals are really cute and the log is, too -- but know that it does not operate as shown. The picture leads you to believe that the log can stand up and is sturdy enough to allow your child to sit in front of it as in front of a doll house of sorts, moving the animals in and out of the little holes. In reality, the log is floppy. It will not stand up or hold it's shape at all, so does not facilitate this kind of imaginative play. The log is a glorified bag for the stuffed animals. I resorted to hanging the log from a hook or lying it down flat like a fallen tree, but my daughter had already lost interest.

My only dissapointment was that the description wasn't accurate. It lists that a chipmunk is included (which is what my son wanted!) and it is actually a beaver.

The product looked great even online. Mine was a get-well gift and I love it so much, I'm almost glad I got hurt! As an animal lover and a kid, I give The Forest Club Playset a thumbs up! (Even though the "chipmunk" is really a beaver but, oh well!)

The four year olds at our church love the new tree house and take the little animals on "adventures" in the playroom. The velcro on the bottom of each animal is great so they don't fall into the tree (or out of it!).

This forest club playset is one of those toys that if fun for many ages! My 4 year old got one for a birthday gift, my 7 year old loves to share it, and I just purchased another one for my niece's third birthday. The toys are well made and extremely cute. I'm very pleased with this item!!

My 13 month old granddaughter loves the little animals; at this age the tree is hard for her to manage. It will have more "play value" in a few months. By the way, the "chipmunk" is actually a little "beaver"!
