My 2 year old loves this trunk. The costumes are nothing special, but she loves them and that they have the princess pictures.
Child loves it but the seams could be much better.
Children need stitches clost together so the fabric doesn't separate easily with routine play.

I bought this for my niece. She loves it! Mom & Dad said the cardboard trunk was a pain to put together... they may have even tossed it by now?? But my niece plays dress up almost everyday with the dresses. I know for a recent trip to Disney, they splurged and bought a real expensive princess dress. I'm not sure if they allow her to play with that one? Thank goodness for these dresses!

I bought this product for my two years birthday present. She has played with her "dress ups" as she calls them for almost TWO years practically everyday. When we first received the tunk, it was a bit tricky to get together. However, with a little packaging tape, you can salvage it. The clothes themselves have held up great. That comes with great care for them too. I didnt allow my child to eat with them on, as they are not machine washable and I certainly didnt allow my daughter to go outside and play in them.

Beware this product is decribed as 4 poly satin gowns and it will arrive as 4 shirts, 3 skirts (Belle & Snow White shared skirt), and 3 headbands (Cinderella/Snow White reversible headband). Fine if you are buying for one child but don't expect to have four girls playing dress up at the same time. The costumes are not the finest quality but the price should clue you in to that. I was however very dissapointed in the Cinderella costume b/c the sleeves are not even attached so you have a skirt, tunic top with two sleeve puffs, a headband and choker.......lots for a young girl to put on! If this all sounds like something you are interested in purchasing then I would encourage you to search for a better price! I returned this item b/c it was of the false advertisment!
I got this for my two girls and they loved it. The trunk is horrible. No directions on how to put it together. Had to use tape to hold it. Very flimsy. The picture does not live up to it's actual standards. The trunk looks bigger in the picture.
My daughter (3) loved this the moment she saw it. She becomes a "princess" everyday and knows their names by heart. The costumes fit her well even though she's smaller than most kids her age. They're easy for her to get on and off. I am disappointed with the construction of the trunk. It was very hard to put together and we finally had to use tape. However in two days it fell apart, my daughter doesn't seem to mind though. It's been about 4 weeks since she received this gift and the yellow skirt has a tear in it. The costumes themselves are not that durable, I haven't washed them yet for fear of damaging them. Over all it's a good concept but if you can find something else (even if it cost more) I'd get that instead.

This product is not worth the money. The trunk was torn the first time my 3 1/2 year old tried to open it and get to the clothes. She also could only fit in a few of the outfits. She played with it at first and now is back to the thrift store play clothes. Neat idea, but needs to be made of something different, even partical board would be better for this.
My granddaughter loved it. could come a little larger to last longer

I have 2granchildren ,girls love it,easy to put on ,cute designs,I had to adjust some of the sizes,fits a size 5 perfect ,but a 6x,kind of snug,also I ordered shoes,the same thing with the shoes,very cute ,but shoes didnt fit the larger child.Shoes shouldnt be worn on slick floor.
This item looks cute on the picture but I found the items to be pretty flimsy and not so great at fitting. My daughter is a skinny kid and is almost four I find that the tops are too small. It does say three and up maybe it should say 2-3. We can't even velcro the top velcro on the tops. I am just so disappointed!

Got this as a Christmas gift for my 2 granddaughters who turned 3 in October and December. They will NOT be able to play with these pieces by summer because they fit so snugly already. I'm disappointed by this fact because they really enjoy playing with the outfits!

No instructions on assembling trunk. The cardboard was not well cut for easy fitting together. Had to use packing tape inside to hold it together. Would have appreciated instructions.
3 yr old loved dressing up with the outfits, though. Trunk not important to her.
My daughter liked it....thats all that matters on Christmas (at this point).
Really cute and variety of the actual dress up clothes. Yeah not the highest of quality but you get what you pay for. They wash well though wouldn't withstand to many washes just spot cleaning is better. The storage trunk is made of cardboard so what do you expect. It didn't last long even after taping it. Would be willing to pay a bit more if the storage box was more sturdy. Maybe plastic or a thin metal.

Very cheaply made, worthless "trunk", filmsy cardboard. You could provide a least a draw string bag to hold everything.....clothes are the cheapest of materiels, itchy and tears easily.
The dresses are not the finest quality....but its make believe people. I bought 2 of them and I think that they are great! The trunk is a little cheap! But all around an A!

This was a lot of fun for my 3yr old and 5 yr old to play with once or twice. But the outfits came in too many pieces (separate sleeves plus separate top and bottom on some),and the fabrics were flimsy & scratchy. I also expected it to come with 4 pair of shoes like the picture shows. When I re-read the description it vaguely says "and plastic slides" it doesn't specify how many pair are included. [...]
My two year old daughter has had this set for about a year, and never gets tired of playing with the clothes. The trunk has taken a beating, but I just patch it up with packing tape - she only cares about the dress up clothes anyway.
I love how she plays pretend with all the clothes and accessories!
My daughter loved this set! It's great because it's made of silky fabric that stretches and the pieces are easy to put on and take off, even for a 2 year old. The box was useless though...just like the others said.

I bought this for my neice last Christmas. It is still her favorite gift! Her Mom & Dad said that she plays with it almost every day and they have all the pictures to prove it! I think I'll add the shoes and wigs this year. She can also wear them on thier upcoming cruise to Disneyworld. She can wear some of the dresses for the Pirate and Princess party!

This dress up chest is lots of fun! I bought this for my oldest daughters 3rd birthday, she just turned 4 and she still dresses up like a princess very often! My youngest daughter also loves this clothes. They are easy for the girls to get on and off and spark lots of creativity and laughs. We have even dressed up the dog. The box fell apart within a week and the princess pictures on the shirts are now coming off but they still love to dress up. Very affordable compared to other princess dressup outfits that are alot harder for the girls to play with and put on alone.

Costumes are lots of fun and my daughter who was 3 when I bought it loves playing dress up by herself and with friends. The box is very flimsy, cheap and Im going to have to buy another box to keep the costumes in.

Costumes are very cute, but like most people have said are best used for a 2 or 3 year old. Box does not stay together by itself, had to use tape. Good purchase for a little girl who likes to play dress up. Hours of fun.

I read the reviews before buying and the main faulty feature was the box (which I agree is smaller than expected and a bit of a pain to assemble but not complicated). I recommend taping it with clear packing tape at all the edges to help it last longer. Though the main reason I bought the collecttion for the clothes which are very cute and appropriate for my 2 year old. The one thing I would note is you really only get 3 full costumes. One of the outfits has an interchangeable skirt - the yellow skirt goes with Belle and Snow White's top. There is one pair of shoes (not 4 like the picture shows), one bead necklace, one pair of earings and three bangle bracelets and 3 rings. All in all I am happy with the product.

My daughter cannot make up her mind what she wants to wear for Halloween. Age appropiate, very good for SMALLER children ages 2 - 3. Forget the box though; a simple plastic bag would of been a better choice; it tore upon taking it out of the sealed bag it was in.

The clothes are cute, but the trunk is flimsy and did not fit together or stay together very well. I thought it was a little overpriced for the quality.

My grandaughter and her friend, love this set. The only thing wrong with this, is that it is very small. They say 3+. I would say size 3-4. My grandaughter is a small size 5 and it is all too small.

I read the other review comments before purchasing this collection and they all proved exceptionally true. I didn't personally put together and use the storage trunk. I purchased a plastic bin with a lid and decorated it - I can see where the "sturdy trunk" discribed in the text is misleading. Size wise it really is best for the 2 1/2 - 3 year old or I would say up to 40 pounds. But absolutly it has provided hours of fun and play for both my daughter and son.

My daughter loves the dress-up clothes. All of the comments regarding the poor construction of the trunk are accurate. But we got the "trunk" for the clothes, so I don't feel like it matters too much.

My daughter absolutely loves the costumes, especially the princess shoes, it's what she spends most of her play time doing. I think it really enhances her sense of imagination. The only complaint I have is that the lid of the cardboard trunk was difficult to assemble, it needed to be taped to stay together. Otherwise, the princess trunk was a hit!

I bought this as a gift for my son's 3-year-old friend. The box comes unassembled, which is fine, but there are no instructions on how to assemble the box. I finally got it together (after cutting one of my fingers while trying to fit the edges together), but it didn't quite close right and was very flimsy. The quality of the clothing is pretty typical for dress up clothes. There are no instructions for how the pieces of clothing go together to make each of the princesses. I was very disappointed.

The costumes are great! My daughter loves them. As for the "trunk"...with no instructions to assemble it, it was a little difficult. And then having to tape it all over so it wouldn't come apart was a little irritating...but the "trunk" is holding up well after a LOT of patience.

I was drawn to this item because my niece loves to dress-up. But when I got it in the mail, I was a little disappointed. I expected dresses and there was none. They have tops and bottoms that are not well constructed...I really wanted to return the item, but she liked it, so, she kept it. I just wish that they would have shown pictures on the items.

This really doesn't come with four separate costumes; pieces must be reused to make the fourth. The costumes are small so the fact that this toy is recommended for 3 years and up is misleading. The trunk is anything but sturdy; even after I coated it with packing tape it is falling apart. Overall, I would not recommend this product. Trying to replace a set of princess dresses that lasted 2 years. These were so flimsy, they were torn the same day. Also very small- for my 50% percentile 3 year olds. Headbands too tight, only 3 skirts for 4 tops- so don't think you can have 4 little girls dressed up at once- makes for an unhappy toddler.

My niece LOVED the costumes. The trunk was so flimsy and cheap that I had to go out and buy a new container to put the costumes in since it was a gift. Very poor design with NO instructions.
While my daughter enjoys this, I can't believe Disney put its ok on this item. The material for costumes is cheap. These princesses look like they're ready for a night out.

If your child loves to dress up as much as mine, then this is the toy for you! We got this for my daughter for her third birthday. As soon as she opened it she wanted to try on all the costumes. They fit her great and I know that she will have lots of fun dressing up as her favorite Disney Princesses! My only complaint is the box. It is flimsy and hardly lasted at all. I know that when it is finally time to throw it away my daughter will be very upset! I have read several reviews and have seen that this has been a problem for many parents. I love [...], but hope that someone will take note of this!!
My 3-year old loves princesses and I thought this would be a great addition to her addiction. I knew the cardboard trunk wouldn't last, but that was ok (she sat on it the 1st day), but the quality of the dresses themselves was disappointing. The Sleeping Beauty dress top has completely shredded apart along the neck line and the Cinderella top is fraying like crazy. Two of the Velcro fasteners have also fallen off. It's just poor quality. At least I'm not out a lot of money, but this wasn't worth it in my opinion.

Dresses are provided in pieces that can be mixed and matched. Quality is poor and not at Disney standard. Box to store items needed to be assembled and was delivered without instructions. With only one pair of shoes not ideal for sharing.

The chest has to be put together (tabs and slots), but they do not stay in place. We had to glue everything down. Also, there were no instructions on assembly. The dress-up clothes were just so-so but not at all special.

This is just NOT worth the price! The sizing is skimpy and fabrication is cheap.
My granddaughter is 3 1/2 and petite...the dresses barely fit her.
The trunk is a very poorly constructed, cute cardboard box. Bring back the "Good Old Days"....when quality mattered!

We bought this for my friend's daughter. She's three and loves to dress up. Within two hours she had tried on all four dresses! It was a huge hit. These outfits are definitely for the younger kids. If your child is 40 lbs+, I would say they won't fit them.
Fantastic buy for our daughter who is 2 and loves to dress up. This buy may only be for those children who like to dress up and not use this as a "true costume" as the material is very lightweight. The box is not that sturdy, but the costumes alone are worth the price.

Like other customers, I purchased this one knowing that the trunk would be a potential waste. I assembled it (not that tough) and immediately saw the weak spots - where the trunk open and closes. This part on both sides already began to tear just as I was assembling it. I reinforced all hinges and sides with clear packing tape - not too pretty but hopefully will prolong the life of the chest.The dress-up costumes themselves are very cute and delight my four-year old. The fit is pretty decent for a four-year old, although my little one is rather petite. She needs assistance in attaching the velcro closures on the tops in the rear, so don't expect your little girl to be self-sufficient during her play time. The costumes are decent quality for the price. They are for me a good idea to see if I want to invest [$] per dress at [...]. If she loses interest in these outfits....well I won't buy any more. There are three skirts and four tops - one skirt does double duty, and I think the photo in the catalog is a little misleading in that way.The costume jewelry is total junk. Not even cute. I like this set. A good value for a versatile assortment.

The dresses, jewelry, headpieces and shoes are wortth the money! (Some single dresses cost more than this!)
The trunk is not sturdy though, as the description reads.
It falls apart and I cannot keep it together.
Other than that the contents are great and I would purchase this again!
(Just get another storage box!)

"Trunk includes 4...gowns" WRONG! There are 3 1/2 sets, one skirt has to be used for two outfits. I've looked at toy stores for dress-up clothes, and have found them to be about $20 per dress. This set is the same quality as what I've found there, but at a much better value. The dresses fit my 2 1/2 year old daughter perfectly. While the age recommendation is 3 and up, I can't imagine them fitting any child over 4 years. Over all though, this is a great set.
My mother in law bought this for my 2 1/2 year old, and she loves it, we have had so much fun dressing her up and takeing pictures to send to family. It was hard getting her to take the clothes off last night to go to bed!!!!
