Comments about Lillian Vernon Kitchen Set and Chef's Apparel:

I absolutely loved these little aprons and hats. We ordered sets for 2 of our 4 daughters (one is too old, the other too young for this product) for Christmas over a year ago. The problem is they love them, so they are used a lot. After the first wash, their names were peeling off both aprons! I ironed them back on the best I could (the letters were all twisted up so it was difficult) and they have stayed on since. I don't believe they were ironed on correctly to begin with. Then after a second wash the stitching on one came undone and the top trim and tie pulled away from the apron. Fortunately I sew, so it's not a big deal. Overall I was disappointed with this item. Although cute, it lacks in quality. I would have been willing to pay a little more for such a cute product if I knew it wasn't going to fall apart. Kids like to see their names on things, it's very upsetting to them when their names just peel off.
