This is the third time I'm buying this. The first time was about 15 years ago for my niece. She actually put aside most of her other Christmas gifts and just played with these dress up clothes for a good hour after opening it. Now I'm up to my 3rd little girl -- a darling neighbor child. And I will be getting another for another niece at the appropriate time. They all just love this!!

I bought this for my daughter when she was 3. She is 17 now. These basic pieces inspired many, many hours of imaginative play. They were used for halloween,school activities and dressing stuffed animals. Over the years we added other stuff, and yes, the box eventually fell apart. But I know she still has some of these things stuffed away somewhere. I am thrilled that you are still offering this product. My niece (age 3) is getting a box for Christmas!! Great product for the price and not linked to a "character" so kids can use their own imagination!

My daughter received this when she was 2 (she is now 3) and has loved it from day one. The box could be constructed to last better though. The lid is what doesn't stay together so we taped it. Other than that it still is in great condition. If your kids respect their toys and take care of them it will last a long time. The clothes, shoes, hat, and accessories are all great. She has played with them time and time again and so do her friends and cousins when they visit. I am ordering another for my niece's birthday!

My daughter just started dress up and wanted a purple dress up box. I was thrilled when I found it. Upon delivery, I was soooo disappointed to see the box was more flimsy than a copy paper box. Besides that, it was taped shut w/ clear packing tape that ripped the purple from the box when I tried to cut the tape. So, I couldn't remove the tape from the box. There is no way the skirt can be a dress, unless you want your child wearing a strapless dress. She loves the whole thing, so that is what really matters. Totally not worth the money. The character boxes are much nicer.
