It says 6 months and up but my 5 month old enjoys holding the various pieces and mouthing them. The octopus is too advanced for him to do the tasks but he loves playing with the arms and studying himself in the mirror.

The sorter and stacker are fine, but the button comes off very easily on the octopus and could present a choking hazard.
