Comments about Lillian Vernon Dress 'n' Learn Puppy:

Very cute as i purchased two, one for my 17 month old daughter and another as a gift. The only negatives I see is the buckle is a tad difficult and could be a little easier to do and the snap is really hard to do so I don't expect my daughter to get that one anytime soon. I even have to give it a good pull to unsnap the snap. She loves it and became attached to it right away.

This is above my 9 month old son's comprehension right now, but he has been playing with it for a few months now. He likes to cuddle with it and I know that, as he grows, he will be able to really get good use of it. This is a toy that will remain in his toybox of a long time!

I bought this for my child for her 1st birthday and it has been sitting in the same spot in her room since then. Not interesting and the snaps, buckle and zipper are to hard to manuver. The shoe laces are too short to tie. Do not waste your money.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Dress 'n' Learn Puppy:

I got the pastel puppy for my daughter when she was an infant. At first she would only hold it, she was not interested in "dressing" it. The puppy is stuffed just right and is light enough to be held by little ones. But as she got older she loves to "dress" the puppy. I now have a boy and am considering getting the primary puppy for him.

This toy is totally adorable. My daughters are going to give it to their new baby brother for Christmas, and they are so excited! He probably won't be fastening anything for quite a while, but the dog is so cute and cuddly that he can use it as a lovey first and refine his motor skills as soon as he's ready. I love this little toy- and a great price, especially when on sale!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Dress 'n' Learn Puppy:

The only concern I'd mention is that this toy says 3 months and up. My two and a half year old son can't perform most of the functions yet, but perhaps that's the point. He loves holding and snuggling with the puppy and is also practicing every day. So, if you buy this for a 3 month old, just keep in mind it might be sitting around for awhile. Perhaps that's not such a bad thing ! You will get a lot of bang for your buck!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Dress 'n' Learn Puppy:

I was very pleased with this product when it arrived. It was even larger than I expected from the photo (a good thing), very bright and colorful, well made, soft and substantial. It has several different fun ways for kids to practice dressing, but it's also cuddly and soft just for hugging and carrying around. Very much worth the price.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Dress 'n' Learn Puppy:

I purchased one for my son and one for his cousin this past holiday season. My son is almost 3 and is severely developmentally delayed and my nephew is autistic. This puppy was a HIT with both boys! My son has to have "Barky" on his bed with him each night and he knows how to button and snap now due to this toy. Being an educator, I only purchase toys that will teach or help my child (or any other) to learn something that will benefit them in the long run. This is one of those toys and it's affordable on a teacher's salary!

My daughter just loves it. I wanted to get one of those for my son, but you know how it is. You want to get your kids everything. My daughter is two. It is the perfect time for her to learn to do it all. She lives the bright vibrant colors and he is so soft. It is the cutest little thing that I have ever seen for a child.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Dress 'n' Learn Puppy:

I bought this product for my daughter who was about 17 or 18 months at the time. She was really interested in buttons on clothing, snaps, velcro, zippers and flaps. Although the dog is cute and cuddly, she became very frustrated with all of the items on the dog. The snap was too hard to push down on, the button was very hard for little hands to push through the hole, the zipper on the shoe was a bit "sticky" and the shoelaces were not long enough for small hands to loop. Basically, unless your child has small motor skills that are off the charts this cute toy is just too hard for little hands
