I bought this doll as a gift for my niece to take to the beach. Years ago, Lillian Vernon sold a similar doll with pool accessories, but she had long braids. I bought one for each of my daughters. One is 17 and one is 11 now! The previous doll did not stay on her float, etc. but she was constructed better. I mistook this doll to include the pail and shovel toys as well. My mistake! I still think it's a cute doll for a beach vacation. I've never seen one like it in the toy stores.

My 2 year old daughter loves it, but I am not as easily satisfied. The doll does not drain water easily. Water gets trapped in the legs. It is very cute, but the accessories are not as functional as shown. Overall the doll was hit with my daughter and ok for me.

All the accessories are gret, even if they do not fit the doll, my daughter still has fun trying! Our doll's head and leg fall off all the time and her eyelashes fell out after one dip in the water. Even so, my daughter loves this doll.

My 2 daughter and her two cousins ages 2, 3 and 4 love playing with this doll. It is great for the pool and beach and is easy for people who travel to have one toy they can take with them on an airplane or wherever. The kid can even carry it on her back by herself--very important to this age group of kids. We were a little dissappointed that the doll didn't fit in the ring, but she sits in it just fine, so we adapted.

This is a GREAT deal - of all the water babies I found, this one came with the most accessories (and it was the same price or cheaper than the competitors!) The doll and all parts are well-constructed to put up with the "attention" of my 2-yr-old and her cousins. The only somewhat negative is the the doll does not sit upright in the ring like the picture shows (or if it does, we have never been able to make it do that.) But, the doll does float. Overall, my daughter LOVES playing with this toy in the pool, the tub, the car, the living room, etc. I would recommend this to anyone.

The tube and ball are inflated and do not deflate as inflatable implies. The doll is too chubby to get the tube up over her hips and tummy. I had to pull and wiggle it quite hard to get it on. The sunglasses are large and do not stay on the doll. The suit is cute and goes on and off quite easily. I like the carrying case. The doll goes to the pool all ready to swim. If the fit of the items was better it would be a nice summer gift for a swimmer. I would not recommend this to a friend as it is at the current time.
