My eldest used this to learn to tell time / make time, and my younger child with Exceptional Needs (who has no concept of a clock, how to "properly" use this toy, etc.) LOVES it, too! He loves the interactive nature, loves the sweet little music, the calm British voice. I just wish they were less expensive because I would LOVE to give one to each of his Special classmates in his Special Ed Preschool class!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Teaching Clock:
I'm hoping we'll use this product more when my son is ready to learn about telling time (we tried, but he's not "there" yet)... but the recorded voice is British and kind of hard to understand!! We also have the interactive talking US map puzzle and really like that... but if I ever order anything talking from Lily's Kids again, I will call first to see what country it was recorded in!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Teaching Clock:
My son learned to tell time with this toy. He didn't mind the cheesy accent either. I would not recommend it for an older child though. I had this toy in the car and brought it on trips.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Teaching Clock:
What little use we have gotten from this I am not impressed. It will be good learning for numbers but not sure it will help with the time. I am sure there is better out there so shop around. It's not as great as an item as it looks.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Teaching Clock:
This clock is the best choice considering the more pricey alternatives. My 3 year old son loves it and I just purchased 3 more as gifts for his friends.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Teaching Clock:
This toy looks better in the catalog than it is in person. It is cheaply made, with a tinny, British voice that is not easy to understand. My 4 year old son used it for about 10 minutes after we opened it and hasn't touched it since. It seems like a cheap piece of plastic assembled in a third-world country. Very disappointing.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Teaching Clock:
I purchased this clock as a gift. The biggest turnoff is the female british accent. It is difficult for a three year old to understand.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Teaching Clock:
I loved the idea of this clock, but then once we got it I found you can't keep it "on" with the current time, so everytime your child wants to know what time it is you have to set it. It was just not as I had hoped for.
