My son got this as a Birthday gift and loves it. I had noticed it at a friends house and liked it, but didn't like all the puzzle states coming out and getting lost by young hands. So when my son got his I kept the hard cover plastic shell on so my son can't remove the pieces but can still push the states. It worked out well and he still has the plastic cover on and uses it all the time. I had no problem with the sound quality on the machine. It is well worth 30.00.

this product is junk. good idea and i was excited for my twins to learn the states and capitals. my map that i got only said some of the states, the other ones didn't even say the state. the pledge of allegiance voice is very shaky. definitely not worth [$]!!

My 2.5 yo son really enjoys this puzzle. He has quickly learned the name of some states. I agree the voice can be difficult to understand sometimes, but overall is pretty good. The main things I don't like are; Oregon is mispronounced along with Boise and the Pledge of Allegiance sounds a bit rough which just gets old quickly.

This was a huge hit at Christmas. The voice was perfectly clear so I am unsure what the other review is talking about. My nephew who recieved this gift was so excited and all of the cousins wanted to play with it too. The storage compartment is fantastic as well.

This is a good product. I like that you can store the pieces underneath and not lose them. However, the voice is hard to understand so it only is benificial if you are with your child to repeat the states and capitals.
