Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Electronic "Pig E" Bank:

The FIRST one I got had what I thought what a chip in the seam at the top of the pig - so I called & got another one sent (for free - which was the only great part about this.) The second pig had the same chip in the same spot - ok -manf. defect - the stickers look awful & turns out the 1st pig didn't work AT ALL so I'm glad we got the replacement. For it's large size it doesn't hold many coins - due to the electronics of the toy. You also can't put bills in it. I'm now looking for a good old fashioned ceramic pig!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Electronic "Pig E" Bank:

I thought this would be a fun way for my 3.5-year-old son to collect spare change around the house. When I received it, I was quite disappointed. The pig is quite large, makes a loud and annoying sound, vibrates, and the personalization looks cheap (stickers). I hid it before my son saw it and am not bringing it out again.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Electronic "Pig E" Bank:

A good product overall. Only con: it vibrates (shakes) rather loudly with every coin deposited. There is no apperent reason for this, the shaking does not really accomplish anything. (Fun for kids-annoying to parents....)

cute but difficult
By mhVerified Purchaser from kokomo, in on 6/11/2007
Pros:
Educational, Fun
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Talking Electronic "Pig E" Bank:

This piggy bank is really cute with all of its actions. However, it is almost impossible for my 3 yr old to push the coins into the slot. He just gives up and wants mom & dad to do it. I recommend it for older kids, at least 4 & up. Also, the name is just stickers, so I think it's a little overpriced.
