Bungee wore out very fast now making this toy useless. I called today 3-15-11 and no bungee cords are available. A toy this expensive should not have lasted only a couple of months.

This was a great toy for my daughter. She played with it when she was 3, 4 and would like to now that she is 5... but we can't find a replacement bungee cord. I did buy one about a year ago, but it looks like Lillian Vernon doesn't carry them any more. I recommend holding off buying this trampoline until they carry the replacement cords again... and buy a couple extras when you buy the trampoline!

We purchased this as a gift for our child. The bungee wore out quickly and as of right now ( Jan 27,2011), there are not any bungees available. The foam covering the handle lasted less than a month in our house. [...]

We bought this for our three year old. She loved it, but the bungee cord broke quickly and now there is no replacement available.
I would not waste your money on this.

I bought this for a grandchild. She loved it and bounced away. Unfortunately within 6 months the cords all freyed. Lillian Vernon does not carry replacement cords anymore so it's basically useless now. A short lived expensive toy.

We bought this for our son for A Christmas present He loved the trampoline and spent lots of time jumping on it. We used it almost every day. The Bungee has worn down and broke. we have contacted Lilian Vernon for another bungee but they are no longer available.

The grommets have sharp edges that slowly saw the bungee cord in half. We are replacing the cord every 6 months due to this flaw. This would not occur if they used smooth edged grommets instead. We enjoy it so will keep buying more bungee cord replacements.

This was a GREAT trampoline until my 3 year old got a hold of scissors and cut the mesh part that you jump on. I'm very sad to see they do not carry replacement mesh and anywhere else I've found it online is the same price as buying a new trampoline. Otherwise it held up well with 3 boys in our house and was hours of fun. They would take turns jumping on it while watching TV so I felt it was great exercise. Will probably buy another new one, but maybe at a different store or somewhere else where the mesh could be more easily replaced if needed. Lillian Vernon sells replacement cords, but I didn't see those wearing down.

the product is awesome!! though if you catch 2 kids on it at once tell them one at a time cuz 2kids wear out the bungees faster! i love this though it took 2 people working very hard to put it together once you figure out what the instructions want you to do its kinda fun putting it together.

my only complaint is the extra bungees don't come with instructions and i've lost my instructions. so how do i put it together i have 2 extra bungees and no instructions.... a pdf file available would be beneficial. i just did a search for bungee assembly instructions to no avail! :(

My daughter was 4 years old when we first got her this trampoline. She is now 6 years old and has enjoyed it fully for 2 years, she just LOVES it. After reading the other reviews, I have to agree, the bungees to wear out, but I am glad to see Lilian Vernon carries the replacement bungees now. They didn't carry them when we first got the trampoline and I had to find replacements elsewhere. (A harder task than it should have been). Now, the mat has worn out (one of the eyelets where the bungee threads through has torn). It was such a disappointment when I called Lillian Vernon to get a replacement mat, but they do not carry them. They also would not provide me with the name of the manufacturer of the trampoline (so that I could perhaps order directly from the company that makes them). It's a wonderful product, I highly recommend it, but just be aware that once the mat goes, finding a replacement is a real challenge. Seems like such a waste not to be able to buy a new mat, because the trampoline frame is still in great condition.

This is a wonderful product! Both of my girls ages 4.5 and 1.5 totally enjoy this! It was wonderful during winter when outdoor play wasn't always possible. My 4 year old would jump for 20 to 30 min without stopping, loving every minute of it! Definitely would recommend!

No "couch" time when watching TV at our house! Our daughter has been on this EVERY DAY, and she's LOVES IT! :) She bounces and jumps, invents exercises and tells us all about what she's doing.
Many have mentioned a problem with the bungee cord, but we haven't seen that (yet). Unfortunately our problem has no "replacement" available. The trampoline material is ripping out of the plastic "grommets," and we've had to sew them back together. Certainly not a permanent solution, but we're working with it for now.

We love this trampoline but are already on our second bungee cord. We had to BEG lillian vernon to send us one. At that time, the supervisor said they knew of the bungee problem. Now they are selling replacements, so I'm doubtful that they really fixed the problem...which is a shame. I'd still buy the trampoline with several replacement bungees.

My 4 year old has had this trampoline for well over a year. He loves it and so do I. It's been great for occupational therapy and developing sensory motor skills. It's even better for play and just burning up excess energy. Beware the bungee cord. In fact, if you purchase the trampoline just go ahead and buy an extra cord or two. They don't last long indoors and if exposed to the outdoor elements you'll need to replace them even more often. Unless you're a superhero, you'll need some muscled help to get the bungee cord on.

Great color! Very sturdy. My kids love to play on it - - we stress one at a time! Easy to assemble up to the point of threading the bungee cord - - then you need muscle and an extra set of hands. But it's worth it so it's really tight and secure! We only use this indoors - - it's not too bulky so looks good in the play room!

Instructions are not great - - I had to go to a hardware store to find out the nuts are locked (and are supposed to be.) Also would have been helpful to know I should use the wrench included in the tools supply.

Once it's put together, WOW! Kids love it and it's great exercise and keeps them off the furniture!

This present went over VERY well!!! My niece loved it, but...the bungee cord is not durable at all, it has already broken and is just a year old this Christmas. The trampoline stays inside in the play room so weather has not contributed to its poor durability. An extra bungee cord was not sold with it when I bought it for my niece a year ago. Great present but stock up on the bungees.

We got ours when our son was 3, and our daughter was 6 mos. They both loved it. He would practice counting while jumping, and she would sit and let me bouce her a little. Good for practicing sharing also. We kept it outside all summer long and brought it in for winter dulldrum busters! All in all it lasted 2 years. First the bungee started to unravel and finally the netting started to fray just a little. It was so fun and useful to us that we are going to get another. I think the outside weather all summer is what did most of the damage. We gave one to our niece(who also loves it) and would recommend it to anyone!

Great trampoline for my 3 yr old with autism! he's only 29lbs and we've had it for 1 month...today! he got it for his 3rd bday 1 month ago and the bungee is about to break. we just noticed it tearing!

This trampoline is better than others becase it is bouncier, but the downfall is obviously the bungee needs replaced. i'm hoping our next bungee lasts longer than 31days!!!!!
