Not too great!
By Mother of 2 preschoolers from CA on 2/9/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable
Cons:
Thermos broke after 1 use

Comments about Lillian Vernon Toddler's Insulated Lunch Bag - Lavender:

The accessories included (drink thermos & sandwich keeper) are cheaply made & don't last. Other than that it's ok.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Toddler's Insulated Lunch Bag - Lavender:

My daughter takes this to preschool everyday. We have been using it for five months now and it still looks great. It is easy to clean up with water whenever it gets messy. We use it with a thermos for hot stuff, and it has plenty of room to pack a bib, sippy cup, utensils, fruit, etc. We use the included sandwich container all the time. We don't use the water bottle at all because she still uses a sippy cup. We also have the matching backpack, which she loves to use whenever we go to grandmas or anywhere she wants to bring a snack, toy, book, crayons, etc.

The personalization is great for school and it is great quality compared to other brands that charge a fortune. The only problem I had was that the ice pack broke and leaked but I was able to wash the bag which is another plus. I definitely recommend this!

I got this for my toddler for pre-school. It is perfect. The color stands out. Her name is on it for her teachers. Very cute. The drink cap doesn't stay secured and flows too fast so we don't use it but otherwise very good buy.

I got this for my daughter who just entered preschool. Her lunch tote came in the mail after her first day of school & she was so excited to see that it had her name on it...also that it came with her very own water & snack container (seeing as though snack time is the highlight of her day). It was just perfect!

Bought this and matching backpack for my 3 year old starting preschool. Cute but a little bulky. They should make the backpack a little bigger and the lunchbox a little smaller.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Toddler's Insulated Lunch Bag - Lavender:

It's OK. I thought the lettering was embroidered and they're iron on stick-ons. I'm sure they will fall off sooner or later. Also, they are not consistant with where they put the name. On a purple on they put the name in one place and on a pink on they put it somewhere else. It's not the length of the name because both names have 7 letters. Overall I'm happy but it's not exactly what I thought.

Cute, small. I don't use the bottle at all because it takes up all the room for other snacks. I used it once and the letters are coming off, they aren't stiched but glued on.

Disappointed about personalization, but

Comments about Lillian Vernon Toddler's Insulated Lunch Bag - Lavender:

I was disappointed that the personalization was not monogrammed, but was stick-on-lettering. It was not implied in the description of the bag, but other items that I've ordered that were personalized did have stitched monogramming. Overall, we've been happy with the bag. It is sturdy and well-insulated.

This is a great lunch bag for my pre-schooler & kindergartener. Easy for THEM to carry!! The only thing is we went out and purchased screw lid water bottles because THESE WATER BOTTLES LEAK and not secure enough to be put through the wears of my two. They love them!
