I bought this bag for my 9yr. old daughter who started 4th grade this year. The bag is very roomy. It fits everything she needs to put in there. If your worried it won't fit the 2-3inch binders it will, and you'll still have alot of extra room to fit a pair of shoes and snacks. The only thing I feel it needs is bottom support with the added bottom flap with some type of padding.
Overall this is a great and stylish bag, and you can't beat the price.

My son is using this for his backpack for school. In normal backpacks all his papers would get pushed down to the bottom and it would be hard for me to see if he had things stuffed in there. This backpack opens big and is easy to see everything. He can't hide anything or forget to remove anything. No more carrying 5 pounds of rocks to and from school everyday.

Initially this bag was purchased for school (7th grader). She has since used this as a multi purpose bag ranging from over night bag to a friend's house, carry horse tack and grooming tools, to school items.

I do NOT like the glued on letters. Should be given option to have complete name on bag also.
