My daughter received this for Christmas. It comes requiring assembly, and the assembly is not quick and easy, so be prepared for that -- and then don't put a lot of weight on it, since if the screws come out, you won't get them back in. In other words, don't let your child even think about sitting on it. It is a very pretty chair and nice for play time with dolls (or stuffed animals, which is how my daughter mostly uses it): they actually have a tray for their pretend food. Make sure the doll/stuffie you use with it can bend at the waist, though; otherwise, it is very frustrating when the stiff doll won't sit down nicely behind her tray.

I read the mostly poor reviews of the item and decided to try it anyway. Here's what we found: I am not dissapointed, I am not overly excited. Problems: [...] The chair is not "good" quality, but is what I expected for a [$] highchair (my daughter's wooden babydoll crib was $50 and you can see the difference). I am pretty handy, and was very careful but the wood still split in a few places during assembly (oddly enough my husband split more than I did while trying to "fix" it. hahaha.) It seemed one of the problems was the pre-drilled holes didnt line up correctly with the dowels and/or weren't pre-drilled in the correct size. Its pretty light (which is actually a pro, as a small child can move it herself) but if you have a kid who tried to climb the legs, I expect it would splinter.Pros: We didnt find it wobbly at all. We let our 3 year old test it our for a week before it went to my 2 year old neice, and she could easily put any of her babydolls into it, and take them out without any help. The opening is plenty wide for any dolls under 15 inches (can't verify anything larger). The space for the "tray" is large enough to put play food, and not having an opening mechanism really saves little fingers from getting smashed (and bonus-less tears!)Bottom line: for the price, its perfectly fine. Not awesome, not awful, but what you can you expect for [$] wooden highchair? If you want better quality for the price, stick with a plastic one, but if you love the wooden more unique look, this is fine for a young little girl. (For an older girl I'd pony up and get a nice one). I would buy it again.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Baby Doll High Chair:
This chair is very cute, but after it was put together, it does wobble a bit and the opening for the doll is pretty small. The wood did not split on this item when putting together like it did with the bassinet.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Baby Doll High Chair:
The opening for the doll to be placed in and taken out of the high chair is so small in both width and height that my 2 year old daughter has to ask me for assistance every time (using an average size doll). Even if she tries herself, the doll's feet become wedged under the doll. Since she cannot play independently with this toy, it is very disruptive to her play and defeats the purpose of having the chair, which is to provide her with tools for pretend play where she acts as the adult/mommy.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Baby Doll High Chair:
Dowel brace for chair legs split when assembling; wobbly and unsturdy. Very disappointed.
