I bought this as a gift, so I can't comment on the "wear and tear". The bag looks great, however, the name could be a little bigger. I also wish there was a cardboard piece at the bottom of the bag to help it keep its shape on the bottom. It is very roomy...can be used for a big trip or for a kid w/a lot of sporting equip. Overall, I'm very happy and would recommend to anyone.
