I ordered these when they were on clearance and I ordered extras after reading the reviews. True, some of them do have the gold painting a little off and a few chips. But for the price they are worth it - I am going to use them for holiday gifts for my consultants and will pick out the ones that look the best - for the clearance price they are worth it.

I bought these several years ago to use as wedding favors for my holiday weddings. They were a big hit. Not all of them were the best quality with some painting being off but overall for the cost this was a great investment for me for wedding favors. I wanted something unique and cost-effective and these definitely fit the bill.

I bought these to give to the other teachers at my school. It's good I bought extra because I waited until the last minute (as a busy mom and teacher) to open them and some of them had broken corners. All of them had a least a small chip in the glaze, almost as though it's the spot they are loaded into a machine. Gold lettering is faint and off center. I'm a little embarrassed but sadly have nothing else to give. I just hope they are accepted in the spirit of "it's the thought that counts"

True, the gold lettering is faded or worn-looking, but I think that's part of the charm of these pretty ornaments. The quality of manufacturing (smoothness of the porcelain and finish) is what one might expect for the price, I was delighted to find porcelain for that price at all. My only complaint is that the "Made in China" stickers come on each ornament and don't remove easily. Otherwise, I'm pleased and think it's a great value.

I bought these after the Christmas season and was able to get a HUGE deal on 60 of them. I use some on my tree and give others away as gifts for teachers, postal workers and others that I forget to buy for.

The gold paint was not even lined up with the raised letters and was half rubbed off prior to packaging. I am so disappointed that I now have to replace these gifts with something suitable AND I have to pay to ship back this poor excuse of a product!

The ornaments are kind of heavy. They appear more delicate in the picture than they turn out to be. They are not as white, they lean more towards an ecru color. Still, they were reasonable, for the price.

Each Thanksgiving I give a Christmas ornament to each guest. Last year I added the year to the back of each of these stars and then placed one at each dinner guest's place at the table. Considering the price, I think they made a wonderful gift for my purpose.

I'm not sure if I would have bought them if I would have been able to see how they look in person. They are not too bad but they look a lot better in the picture. Somebody already said that the golden painting is not great quality and I agree, some stars actually have the golden writting kind of faded.

The porcelain stars are too big as compared to what is shown on the website. Also, the porcelain finish is not up to the mark and the golden painting quality is not good. I bought this item as a gift item & sadly have to return it now.
