I love this. I don't have to climb behind the tree anymore to plug it in. I can just tap on it with my foot while holding my baby and it works every time. I keep it hidden under the tree skirt so my 2 year old doesn't get tempted to play with it. I am actually lighting my tree every night this year because it is not a hassle anymore!! I'm buying one for my parents right now.

These are so great for plugging indoor or outdoor holiday decorations into. You can just lightly step on them to turn things on. There are a couple of design elements that I would change to improve usefulness. Those are: 1) location of the switch - place it at the opposite end of the where you plug your item into the cord on this item. They way it is set up now, if you need to plug your switch in across a hallway, etc., you can't use the cord on this item to go the distance b/c of where the actual on/off switch and male/wall plugs are located. 2) I would prefer there be multiple plugs for a person to plug things into also, instead of just one. I needed to be able to plug 2 pumpkins into this switch so I could turn them on and off at the same time. I couldn't do it.

I bought the switch to use at Christmas time for the lights on the tree. This way all I had to do is gently touch the switch with my foot and the lights go on the tree without me bending down to plug them in, how easy is that? But my husband saw the switch when it arrived and decided to use it to turn on a light that was hard to get to. So until Christmas or until I order more switches he can use it. It's a great little switch! Thank you.

Great product. Has an extra long cord, so if outlets in your house are scarce like in mine you won't have a problem using it.

When waking up at night it is an easy switch to reach to turn on the bed lamp either from the table or over the bed headboard. I found them through a friend and have them in all bedrooms at home and vacation home. Giving them for stocking stuffer gifts.

After receiving my first light switch, I ordered enough for all my end table lights, as there is no more reaching up to turn off the light. So easy, and for under your Xmas tree, just step on switch and turn on/off the tree, no more climbing under the tree to unplug. Great!

My mother bought this years ago and I finally asked where. I love it b/c I don't have to fish around the Xmas tree to find the outlet to unplug it. All I do is press my foot on the button and the lights are out.

instead of stumbling around the room looking for switches on various lamps you can just click this little thing once and light up the room!
