Awful! Purchased two (for 5-yr and 2-yr). Couldn't even get one song to play without skipping (this was on the countertop). Forget about being able to carry them around. No ESP switch available, AC adaptor plug is backwards so even if yours works, good luck finding a plug. Waste of money.

I was so excited for my 3-1/2 year old daughter to try this product, and I was sorely disappointed. First, the volume barely goes above a whisper. Second, the door to the CD compartment pops open constantly. Third, as a portable CD player made for a child, you would think it would be built to be carried by a child....if it is even slightly nudged the CD skips. I've had the product for about a month and when we put the CD in the player, the reading tells us the door is open, when it is clearly closed. Basically, the unit is non-functional. On the flip side, my daughter loves the microphone function regardless of whether the CD component works.

I purchased this for my sons' 5th birthday. He absolutely loved it, but the batteries wore out very quickly and it took soooo many. The front of the CD player takes a few tries to get it to stay closed. The thing I did like was that the volume doesn't get really loud. What a plus!
