I thought a tote would be easier than a backpack for a little one starting Kindergarten. I thought this would be made more like thermal type thickness to hold it's shape but it is just canvas. Will give this a try starting Wed...will let you know how well it holds up. It should have plenty of room...we'll see!!! Daughter likes it and is excited so that is a plus!!!

I bought this a year ago for my daughter with the butterfly design on it and she loved it. I was very pleased with the bag. Very pretty colors and very cute. I had recently bought another bag for her with the monkey on it, so now she has two and enjoys both of them.

Bag is cute, a little flimsy though. Personalization is NOT embroidered, it is a sticker. I wish that was said in the description.

I bought this tote for my 20-month-old (who loves bags of any kind) as a Christmas gift. She hasn't seen it yet, but I think it's very cute, and while others have complained about the fact that the name is not embroidered, I think that for the price, well, you get what you pay for. And this is a nice bag for the price.

The purple bag was very nice and the name that was embroidered on it was very pretty. The pink bag came to me with the wrong name on it (even though the packing slip had the correct name). The name embroidered on it still had a white sheet attached to it and it was not that attractive. I would definitly buy another purple, but not another pink.

After reading all of the reviews about the name personalization issue, I ordered the bags without the name on it and absolutely love it. I have two girls so bought one of each color so they can tell whose is whose by that. The bag was much bigger then I was anticipating. Perfect for plane and car rides!

Nice bag, very roomy for all kids coloring books, crayon box, and small toys. Attractive design, although the fabric itself is not a heavy weight canvas, and does not 'stand up' like in the photo, giving it the illusion of being really durable. Time will tell, and it's useful for keeping in the car for errands and dr visits.

Great for school because it is personalized with my daughters name on the front. Tote bags are required at our preschool for easy access and this bag is perfect!

My children use these bags as overnight bags for visits to grandparents. Very durable. They have been washed several times without any problems. Name applique has stayed on.

The bag is cute and will serve it's purpose but the iron on name is pretty cheap.. don't think the name will last long! It should be sewed on like the butterfly or dragonfly.

I really liked the this bag. It was a lot deeper than I thought it would be. Therefore I wish it had pockets inside it. But overall I liked it a lot. I can fit a lot in it when we are going to be away for a while.

My daughter loves her new tote bag. the zipper is nice so she doesn't lose anything. she is 6 years old and would have preferred her personalized name be printed instead of the cursive lettering style. she can't read cursive so she isn't happy with that.

This bag is just adorable ... I bought both colored bags for our friends that have 5 year old twins ... the ONLY disappointment is the personalization -- cheap, iron on letters! It really needs to be embroidered.

I bought this for my 2 year old niece as a birthday present. I loved the personalization. However it is not embroidered which would have been nice. The bag has great colors, made of a strong material, and has lots of room. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful bag: high quality, sturdy zipper, great colors, strong straps. My big complaint, however, is the cheap personalization-- tacky, bright turquoise iron-on cursive letters. My older daughter has the previous version of this bag in white with lavender gingham accents, and her name is beautifully embroidered in lavender thread. I was expecting the same quality this time around, but am very disappointed.

I use this tote as a diaper bag for my 17 month old daughter. It's very roomy and the zipper is a plus! I think it's great but it needs more pockets on the inside. Stuff gets lost and you have to dig! The name on the bag is great idea but it needs to be embroidered like the dragonfly!

I received the bag today and the "embroidery" was nothing more than iron-on letters spelling my daughter's name and two letters were already peeling off. The word "embroidery" means "to ornament with needlework" [...]. Very disappointed.

My four year old has the purple bag. She fills it up when we go to Nana's or her cousins. It opens up to fit a large amount and the big picture books from the library.

I love the roomy interior with a zipper. The pocket in the outside is great for quick to grab stuff. I'm a nurse and a new mom, so bought one to carry to work and one for a diaper bag. It's easy to tell who's whose because it has our names on it. OH!! AND it matches the curtains, shelves, lamp and nightlights in my nursery I that purchased through this website.

I primarily used this bag as my daughter's diaper bag. It worked quite well and I really liked the butterfly design on it. It is made of very high quality materials. Only downfall is that it needs A LOT more pockets to hold things. I had to dig every time I wanted to look for something. Very cute bag, though. I would recommend it to my friends for sure.

I use it as a diaper bag when my daughter got to be 12 months old and didn't need alot of stuff anymore. I love the zipper. It keeps all her toys and diapers inside. I wish there was compartments inside. Things get to be a mess if not in smaller containers.

I do like the looks of the bag and the zipper closure. There is a front pocket to stash car keys and a cell phone in, but I worry about my items falling out. The big compartment is roomy, but items get lost, so I end up putting snacks in a ziplock, an extra outfit in another ziplock, etc. inside the bag. And I would recommend handwashing instead of the recommended machine wash -- the bag is sturdy, but the personalized name gets sort of dowdy after the bag goes through the washer. I would recommend this bag, but I wouldn't say it's "The Bag".
