This rugged backpack is packed with pockets! Criss-cross bungee cords hold jacket, sweatshirt, anything you can't fit inside. Heavy-duty 600-denier poly. Large main zip compartment with slot for name tag. 2 front zip sections: 1 with 7 pockets and 1 with padded self-stick strap for personal electronics and slit for earphones. Plus, 2 mesh and 2 zip side pockets with inner mesh compartments. Back and adjustable shoulder straps are comfortably padded. The perfect backpack for all your traveling needs! 12" x 8" x 16" H. My son used this backpack for 2 school years - He is 7 years old and he got a lot of use out of it. Definitley worth the money. I am going to buy him another in a different color for 2nd grade.

Owned for just over one year. Seam ripped about 9 inches where zipper is attached.

I bought three of these bags. One for my neice who at the time was about 7. One for my daughter who at the time was 7, and one for my 5 year old daughter. The bags are very big, enough space for all these extra books they recieve in school now a days. Okay, with my neices bag, the zipper broke, my daughters bag the straps were worn out after about 1 year of use, which is great because she is very rough with her things. And my other daughter, her bag is in excellent condition, she is nw 7 and is using it fior the second year now. So it depends on how well your child treats the bag.

My son has had this pack for about three years. It has held up really well considering how rough he can be on things. His name was embroidered and looked really nice. Cleans up well in the wash.
