Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

I am very displeased with the product I purchased. As a matter of fact, Id like my money back! I think I could`ve gotten the same quality from the 99 cent store. I`m even more displeased with the fact that my daughter's tears saturated the pile of rubble that was left at the end of the day.

Do not buy this bag. It does not zip all the way down. Actually, it hardly zips half way down making it very difficult to pack clothes in. Save your money.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

My daughter really wanted a personalized rolling backpack for school. It was much too small for her to take back and forth to school and it was in pieces in just one month of gentle use. The handle was the first to go after just a couple of weeks and then the fabric was torn in the next couple of weeks. This was a big disappointment!

Two bags broke the first time
By Jack and Joey's mom from Bethesda, MD on 1/2/2008
Cons:
CHEAPLY MADE, Flimsy, Wears Out Easily
Primary use:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

My sons each received one as a Christmas gift. We packed them to go on a trip. The first broke before we got on the airplane and the second broke by the end of the trip.

The frame is attached by four fasteners to the suitcase bottom which is made of cardboard. The fasteners fell out easily and there was no way to reattach them. We threw the frames away and carried the nylon bag by the handles. The bags are not well made.

This is only good for a one night sleepover for my one year old. My three year old can't use it because his clothes are bigger and one pair of jeans fills the whole bag! Forget about packing another pair of shoes! The zipper doesn't go down far enough to really get to the stuff inside.
Overall, good for little ones....not toddlers.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

I intended to have my older daughter use this for overnight trips, but it's just too small for that. It's okay for a day trip where you don't need another change of clothing.
It would not survive being checked at an airport, but you might make it as a carry-on if you are careful with it. The fabric is pretty delicate.

I bought this for my husband's little 7-year-old brother. It looks TONS smaller than on the picture and it is made out of the material of a cheap vinyl throwcloth. I am sending it back.
However, i did order the cheaper duffel bags and they are GREAT looking. I am sending back the pilot case and ordering another one of the duffel bags.

THEY UNZIP & ARE CONVENIENT TO PACK/UNPACK;THIS CASE HOWEVER, IS NOT PRACTICAL AT ALL. TOO HARD TO PACK. WASTE OF MY MONEY.MORE LIKE A ROLLING BACKPACK WITHOUT STRAPS.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

If you get this, be sure to note that it's for your child to pack "fun stuff" in or, at most, a one-night sleep-over with a friend. It's too small to consider for a child's personal luggage for a family vacation. My daughter loved it but it was only big enough for items that would keep her occupied for a long car trip. Ironically, the size of the case and the placement of the pockets made it difficult to access all compartments while on the road. Another thing to take into consideration is that it is not as easy to roll as it looks.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

I bought this for my daughter for second grade. As she wanted a back pack the rolls. It does not have straps to put on your back as other ones that roll. I'm not sure about the durabile, thin nylon. Mostly she is not hard on back packs but in the past the material is better than this. Will see how it holds up.
Don't think I would buy this again.

The product looks great, but I'm a little worried about the durability. I did not realize at the time of order that it was going to be a thin nylon, and since this is for a boy, I wonder how long it will last before a tear occurs. Only time will tell, so I'll hope for the best.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

I ordered two bags. Loved the many pockets for their "stuff". Colors are attractive. Only wish that the handle had a lock-down button like the grownup ones do so it wouldn't pop up so easily. Also, would like the wheels to be a bit more bigger so it wouldn't tip over so easily (kids tend to run with them). Would have liked the zipper to open all the way down all 3 sides like the grownup ones so things would be easier to see and get to in order to pack and unpack. And it looks bigger in the picture than it really is.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink & Green Crinkle Nylon Pilot Case:

This pilot case is very lightweight and the pink color is very vibrant and accented nicely by the black trim.It has ample pockets but the large section is not that easily accessible since it does not zip open to the bottom. This makes it difficult to pack or retrieve clothes. It would be better for books or play. I don't think it would handle too large a load of books though. It looks nice but is not as functional as I would have liked for the price.[...]

This is a good quality product. We use this pilot case for short stays away from home. The wheels make it easy for the kids to handle so you're not doing all the work yourself. We were fortunate to find it in a color they must have discontinued for a huge savings! Not sure if I would order it at full price, it is light weight nylon. Ours has held up well with minimal use.
