Comments about Lillian Vernon Camouflage Zip Top Messenger Bag:

This was bought for my 3rd grade stepson to go back to school with. The bag is roomy but not so much that it will get loaded down and become hurtful for the kid using it. It has plenty of pockets and places to securely stash all the needs of a young kid.

The personalization is embroidered and looks fantastic. The only drawback to it is that the machine that does it cannot do more than one capital letter (such as a first name or last name that contains 2 capital letters like Mc etc) in the name unless there is a space. Other than that, it was fantastic.

This bag isn't going to be good for consistent heavy things such as multiple text books which is why I believe it to be best for elementary school kids since they rarely tote home a lot of books etc.

We were overjoyed with this bag and he LOVES it!! Good price, good quality, good value!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Camouflage Zip Top Messenger Bag:

My kid loves the personalization and camo design, but he finds it difficult to get his 8.5x11 papers and books in and out of it because of the top zipper not opening the full width of the bag. It's definitely useful, but it could be better.

Very cute! Good size for young kids. My son is in 4th grade and it's a little tight fitting for books. He likes it though. He probably won't be able to use it next yr. It's definitely great for any school child younger, not bulky & easy to carry.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Camouflage Zip Top Messenger Bag:

I bought this messenger bag for my son who was going in to first grade and he LOVES it! His name is on it, it's camo, and he loves the messenger bag style. I was glad to see that the size was not overwhelming for my 6 year old. It is perfect for a primary grade student, although it may not be big enough for older students. It is spacious enough for his books and folders, and it does hold his lunch bag, but it does take a little finagling to get his lunch bag in there. The front zip pocket and mesh side pockets are great for extras.

I bougth this bag for my son who is in 5th grade, he loves camouflage things. The bag is nice looking the only thing he and I don't like is that is not enough room to get in he's binder inside the opening is to small. If you make the opening bigger I assure you will have more people buying this product.
