Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Pilot Case:

I purchased two of these and both ended up falling apart. The rivets and zippers both came apart. My children didn't use them a lot. The design was pretty but I wished that they were made with better quality!

I am purchasing this for a second time. My daughter has gotten two years of wear back and forth to school. She and I love it so much I am buying her a replacement. I have scrubbed it with a brush, soaked it, you name it. Very durable and always looks great when I am done washing it.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Pilot Case:

My daughter loves her new 'big girl' suitcase but wether empty or full, it just keeps toppling over! She's small so it is difficult for her to keep lifting up every time it crashes down. The feet on the bottom or just not well designed and can't handle the weight of it. Sadly, I don't have the heart to take it away from her to send it back so I ended up pulling it throughout our vacation.

"Pretty but Poorly Made"

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Pilot Case:

I already own the blue and the red pilot cases just like this. They have been fine. I ordered this one for a Christmas gift and it will not stand up. It just keeps falling over, empty or full. The two "feet" on the bottom just fold under. It's like they were not put on correctly. I never had this problem with the other cases. I am going to try and send this one back for a replacement.

My 2 & 3 year olds recieved these as flower girl gifts filled with little girl stuff! How perfect! Now eveytime we have a special car/day trip they can pack and pull them all by themselves. They love them and less for mom to carry. I am getting one for my third little girl (almost 1) so they can each be little helpers.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Pilot Case:

I was very disappointed when I received this product. It is very thin and does not open wide enough to be used as a suitcase. It will not hold up to heavy use. We've used it a few times for overnight stays. I wanted to return this, but it wasn't worth the waste in shipping charges.

My daughter uses this everyday for school. It's big enough for her books and coat, and has extra pockets for other items. It has held up well so far, and she loves how it looks.

I am not pleased w/ this product at all
By Disappointed MomVerified Purchaser from Raleigh NC on 10/17/2007
Cons:
Wears Out Easily
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Pilot Case:

I purchased this back pack on 9-9-07. First I was upset because it didn't come with backstraps, but my daughter still liked it and it was easy for her to pull around. Then yesterday she came home from school and the handle completely broke off. There's no way to fix it. It lasted a whole 40 days. Def not worth the money at all.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Pilot Case:

This is a very attractive case, however I purchased it for my daughter to use for first grade. Unfortunately it is too big for her at this time and there are no straps and she cannot use it as a backpack. It is beautiful and we plan on using it when we go on trips.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Pilot Case:

I bought this "pilot" case to be used as a suitcase for my granddaughter but since the zipper doesn't go all the way around 3 sides it is not at all useful as a suitcase. It should not be advertised as a "pilot case", rather it should be called a "backpack on wheels". I am returning it [...]
