Comments about Lillian Vernon Instrument Design Black Tote:

I bought these bags 3 years ago for my sons (then ages 12 and 13) to carry their music in for their piano and violin lessons. They still look brand new! They use them daily to retrieve music for their practice times. Trust me, if my boys haven't worn them out yours won't either. I've been very pleased! I'm planning to get a third bag for my guitar playing third son!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Instrument Design Black Tote:

Cute design for the price, but you get what you pay for. The Nylon bag is very flimsy. Right out of the package from Lillian Vernon, the PRINTED on (NOT embroidered) letters and design began peeling off.

Hand Strap Broke
By Homeschool MomVerified Purchaser from Tampa, FL on 10/4/2007
Pros:
Roomy
Cons:
Wears Out Easily
Best Uses:
Music Lessons
Describe Yourself:
Practical, Stylish
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Instrument Design Black Tote:

Upon receiving the tote bag, the personalized lettering started to curl off. After two weeks of use - that's really two days of use for two piano lessons - one of the hand strap ends completely unraveled and separated from the bag. Now my son has to use the shoulder strap when he'd rather use the hand straps to carry the bag.

Great for kids!
By ViolinmommyVerified Purchaser from Indiananpolis, Indiana on 7/29/2007
Pros:
Lots of pockets
Cons:
A bit flimsy
Best Uses:
Music lessons
Describe Yourself:
Educator, Parent, Thrifty
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Instrument Design Black Tote:

"Snap" closure on inside pockets is actually a vertical strap that snaps onto the bottom most pocket. Music in pockets has a tendency to slide out from around the strap. We have learned to be careful to keep bag upright and not unzip all the way or things fall out.
