Disappointed

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Robe:

Very poor quality terry cloth and workmanship. There were loose threads everywhere - in the seams, where the pockets attach, where the appliques attach and throughout the body of the robe. The fabric resembled a manufacturer's reject - obviously not US made. Totally overpriced!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Butterflies Robe:

I bought my daughter this exact robe, as well as one for her cousin. What I like: the design and colors are cute. The butterflies are well made and stay on well. The embroidered name is a nice touch. The fabric is substantial - not too thin but not the most plush either. What I don't like: not a big deal but the name doesn't stand out very well - it is pink on lavendar so there isn't much of a contrast. The biggest complaint is that is is a bit on the short side. I ordered a size 6. My daughter has been wearing it a couple years and she is just now 5 1/2 yrs old and is average size and it is getting to be too short. She is not a tall child. I am getting ready to order a boys' robe for a 3 1/2 yr old boy and I'm going to order a size 8! They seem to be as wide as they are long. Another thing, when I got my daughter's robe a few yrs. ago I swear they weren't almost $40. That is a bit pricey if you ask me. Look for coupon codes or discounts online (Google) prior to placing your order. It helps.
