This was purchased for my daughter as a gift. I has completely come apart from the seams, wheel broke and handle broke. It is a complete waste of money and time. It was suppose to go to grandma's house for weekend trips, but the only place it went was in the trash.

It is great for packing and having them "pack themselves"! My children have unique names and it is difficult finding things with their names on it and this is the perfect solution!

I bought two for my daughters (8 & 5) at the start of the school year. One didn't make it to x-mas break and the other broke before Spring. The balance is off which makes it tip over easily. This was not worth the money, don't watse your time on this product.

Love it, love it, Love it. I bought this for my 3 year old on her 1st birthday, and she loves having a suitcase all her own. Now when I tell her we are spending the night at Grandma's, she runs to go get her suitcase and starts stuffing it full with clothes! It is smaller than expected, but I have learned how to use the space efficiently. I am now buying two more for my 9 month old twin girls.

I was so disappointed I just went to a different store and bought a black rolling backpack(not the best color for a girl).

Bought this for my son 2 years ago and he LOVES it. Yes, it is not as large as I thought it would be, but it is perfect for nights at Grandma's house. Also, we used it as my son's very own carry on for the plane. It was easy for him to maneuver (3 years old) through the airport and he felt like a big guy. Only used his initials for personalization though, did not want his name displayed as we travel -- too many scary people out there!

The item indeed looks cute, but the functionality is limited. It is much smaller in person than it appears in the ads, and it's useful only for week-ends or overnights. I'd recommend only for a 1 - 3 year old. The quality of the product, however is the biggest disappointment - the handle esp. is not very sturdy and doesn't "lock" in. Do not expect to check it at the airport - it would certainly fall apart if handled by luggage handlers!

I bought my three sons each one three years ago and we love them. They love having their own bag with their name and different color and me and dad love having their stuff organized. My children know that taking their bag too and from the car is their job and they totally dig it. Even my two year old has to pull his suitcase, by himself of course. I'm back today ordering one for my fourth son due to be born in two weeks. I can't imagine not having one for him!!

I ordered these bags for my kids for school bags and the retractable handle part fell apart immediately. I would not recommend this bag for every day use or as a school bag. My kids barely carry anything in it and it still fell apart. In Addition, it does not have straps to carry it as a backpack, it can only be rolled. It was also smaller than I thought it would be, which would have been fine if not for the poor quality!!

I used this for my toddler daughter for the past 2 years on weekend car trips or sleepover at Grandma's. It's the biggest pilot case that LV carries and can hold less than a week worth of clothes, pjs, shoes etc. I really like the side pocket for easy access to things like hairbows, medicine, nail trimmers.

My 6-year-old daughter loves the pink and purple colors and has gotten lots of compliments at school. She likes the numerous pockets and the main compartment is definitely big enough for school items. The wheels roll great, too. I wish it had shoulder straps. And the extra reinforcement near the top is great, but the zipper gets caught on the corners of it and is tough for my daughter to get it fully zipped on her own sometimes.

My older daughter received this case for her birthday three years ago. We all thought it was cute and loved that it was personalized. Her case is decent quality - material is sturdy, zippers strong, etc... This year I wanted her little sister to have a matching case. Wow, things went down hill fast with this case. The new one is visibly made of lesser materials. To say it is flimsy is a compliment. The zippers almost have to be forced on the smaller compartments, there are loose threads everywhere and even the personalization is poorly done. I am VERY disappointed in this case and that is only compounded because I know it USED to be a good product.

This item is very attractive, but it seems to be more like a backpack on wheels than a small rolling pilot case. The main compartment should open up all the way. The fact that it doesn't will make packing clothes very difficult. To avoid sending it back, I will save it for when my pre-schoolers are older and use it for school.

The only drawback is that there aren't any straps on it to be carried on the back if needed.
I think this was designed more for traveling than for school.

Also, if my son walks too fast, it wobbles side to side.

He still loves it!

Loved the looks of this tote bag. However, being it does not have straps to carry on back if you choose to, it really bites when the handle breaks! The left side on the pull handle comes all the way out, really hard to pull your books that away... We have fixed it once, but it has broken again, and we are just in the 2nd week of school. I purchased this bag for my daughter for school. Third grade. It is very cute, however, the handle that is connected to the wheel system isn't high quality. She noticed right away that there were No arm straps, just a hand strap, on top. I am sure I'll be getting her a new bag before the end of the year. I ordered one from here last year and it had the wheels and straps. That one seemed to be of better quality and it got a hole on the bottom after about two months. I wanted to try this company one more time, but I think this will be it. The bag is ONLY good for younger school aged kid's. IF YOUR KID IS IN PRESCHOOL/K-1. I WOULD RECOMMEND. IT IS SUPER CUTE!

Bought one each for my two boys ages 4&7 for summer travel which included a trip across country. I basically wanted something that they could put their things in (books, pencil boxs, dvd players, electronics, etc.) and also something that they could handle on their own. I didn't want to end up carrying their stuff and mine. Both boys loved the bags, were able to roll them thru the airport, and they fit perfectly under the seats in front of them on the planes. There was also plenty of room for their things and more and they were able to access their things on their own. The bags definitely served their purpose, and after 3 round trip plane rides and plenty of use, they are still looking and working great!

We have already used this for our son. We have traveled as short as two day trips to as long as a week. This little bag fits lots of things with all its pockets and main compartment.

I was not all that happy with the bag, my child wanted to use it for school but it really isn't made for it plus it does not have shoulder straps. I have had to tug at the handles to get them to go up and down.

GREAT looking! Got it for school, and it sure will make it easy for my son to find his bag, but what a bummer in the function department! It tips over constantly, and doesn't even have shoulder straps (I knew this, but many other manufacturers do at this price) so it only works when it's rolling. Cute, though ... but I thought this would be able to be a workhorse of a bag for the school year. Not so much.

I bought this rolling suitcase for my daughter because she needed something for going to see grandma. I was disappointed by the overall quality. I wish the zipper on the main compartment would open wider. It makes it difficult to pack the case with ease.

Not the best quality
By Skater MomVerified Purchaser from Wantagh, NY on 7/13/2007
Pros:
Roomy
Cons:
Does not balance well, Falls over when pulling, Flimsy, Poor Design
Best Uses:

I thought that a [$] rolling pilot case would be sturdy. When my daughter pulls it the case goes off balance and flops from one wheel to the other. She has a hard time keeping it steady. She has never had this problem with other pilot cases that were less expensive!

Great luggage!
By LilmiewVerified Reviewer from Columbus, OH on 7/11/2007
Pros:
Durable, Easy Assembly, Great Value
Cons:
Not as roomy as appears
Best Uses:
Weekend trips
Describe Yourself:
Love organization, Working Parent
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is a great bag. The only thing that I would change is to either make it a little deeper/wider so that more could be packed for slightly longer trips than overnight or weekend trips. Very easy to use and kid-friendly so that a school-age child can even be responsible for "carrying" their own luggage since it has wheels.
