This was purchased for my daughter as a gift. I has completely come apart from the seams, wheel broke and handle broke. It is a complete waste of money and time. It was suppose to go to grandma's house for weekend trips, but the only place it went was in the trash.
I have a bad back and am short it is the prefect height for me . I load it down also and have had not problems. After 3 years in rain snow mud it is great , But it time for a new one as the wheels are getting warn out. And the purple color gives peoplea smile !!!
"Backpack" type opening misleading when product is described as suitcase.

I was very disappointed with the quality, one of the zippers was broken upon delivery. Used the bag on one trip and the handle broke. I had to run through the airport carrying it. Not what I had expected. Would not purchase again.

I have three children and 9 nieces and nephews and have bought this product for ALL of them. It is PERFECT for overnights at grandmom & grandpops and for family vacations. It is great for packing and having them "pack themselves"! My children have unique names and it is difficult finding things with their names on it and this is the perfect solution!
I bought two for my daughters (8 & 5) at the start of the school year. One didn't make it to x-mas break and the other broke before Spring. The balance is off which makes it tip over easily. This was not worth the money, don't watse your time on this product.
This case was great for a couple of airline trips, but the handle broke off by the third trip. I would only purchase this if you don't plan to take it on a plane - it's not sturdy enough. [...]
My 4 year old son received one of these for Christmas. It does not match the measurements in the catalog, and is much smaller. We were expecting luggage, but this maybe would hold overnight things only. The product is not well made.
Love it, love it, Love it. I bought this for my 3 year old on her 1st birthday, and she loves having a suitcase all her own. Now when I tell her we are spending the night at Grandma's, she runs to go get her suitcase and starts stuffing it full with clothes! It is smaller than expected, but I have learned how to use the space efficiently. I am now buying two more for my 9 month old twin girls.
I got this for my fifth grader daughter. One week later the handle broke and it tipped when to many things were in it. I forced them to bring me another one. A few weeks later both the handles broke. I was so disappointed I just went to a different store and bought a black rolling backpack(not the best color for a girl).
Bought this for my son 2 years ago and he LOVES it. Yes, it is not as large as I thought it would be, but it is perfect for nights at Grandma's house. Also, we used it as my son's very own carry on for the plane. It was easy for him to maneuver (3 years old) through the airport and he felt like a big guy. Only used his initials for personalization though, did not want his name displayed as we travel -- too many scary people out there!
The item indeed looks cute, but the functionality is limited. It is much smaller in person than it appears in the ads, and it's useful only for week-ends or overnights. I'd recommend only for a 1 - 3 year old. The quality of the product, however is the biggest disappointment - the handle esp. is not very sturdy and doesn't "lock" in. Do not expect to check it at the airport - it would certainly fall apart if handled by luggage handlers!
I bought my three sons each one three years ago and we love them. They love having their own bag with their name and different color and me and dad love having their stuff organized. My children know that taking their bag too and from the car is their job and they totally dig it. Even my two year old has to pull his suitcase, by himself of course. I'm back today ordering one for my fourth son due to be born in two weeks. I can't imagine not having one for him!!
I ordered these bags for my kids for school bags and the retractable handle part fell apart immediately. I would not recommend this bag for every day use or as a school bag. My kids barely carry anything in it and it still fell apart. In Addition, it does not have straps to carry it as a backpack, it can only be rolled. It was also smaller than I thought it would be, which would have been fine if not for the poor quality!!
BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD GREAT NEICE FOR TRIPS TO GRANDMA'S AND WEEKENDS. GOT THE LOUDEST SQUEEL AT THE PARTY. PERSONALIZED WITH NAME FOR IDENTIFICATION (AT NO CHARGE) FAVORITE COLORS TOO.
Excellent for child travel; long & short trips. My son would like to use it as his school bag. I am very happy with my purchase.
I bought this for my daughter to use for school. It is now October, and it has already broken. The wheels have broken off the bookbag itself. I have to mail it back and pay for shipping costs to get a refund or replacement. One piece of advice: order your rolling case from somewhere else.
I used this for my toddler daughter for the past 2 years on weekend car trips or sleepover at Grandma's. It's the biggest pilot case that LV carries and can hold less than a week worth of clothes, pjs, shoes etc. I really like the side pocket for easy access to things like hairbows, medicine, nail trimmers.
My 6-year-old daughter loves the pink and purple colors and has gotten lots of compliments at school. She likes the numerous pockets and the main compartment is definitely big enough for school items. The wheels roll great, too. I wish it had shoulder straps. And the extra reinforcement near the top is great, but the zipper gets caught on the corners of it and is tough for my daughter to get it fully zipped on her own sometimes.
I bought this for my 3 yr old daughter in Pre-K. It is good for that. But the bag seems a very poor quality and I am just waiting for it to tear or for the zipper to break.. But I do like the size and the amount of extra pockets in it.
It's good for a cheap pilot's case for a young girl.
My older daughter received this case for her birthday three years ago. We all thought it was cute and loved that it was personalized. Her case is decent quality - material is sturdy, zippers strong, etc... This year I wanted her little sister to have a matching case. Wow, things went down hill fast with this case. The new one is visibly made of lesser materials. To say it is flimsy is a compliment. The zippers almost have to be forced on the smaller compartments, there are loose threads everywhere and even the personalization is poorly done. I am VERY disappointed in this case and that is only compounded because I know it USED to be a good product.
Both my grandsons now have one and love to take it every where. It's great for sleepovers at grandparents.
Granddaughter uses it everyday for kindergarden. She loves it.
I bought this for my friend's six year old daughter. They have not been able to use it yet but she loved it. Very cute, roomy, and practical.
See my earlier post -- it just got worse because it broke on the 20th of September, and school only started on the 4th! :(
not good for travel where it has to go through machines.
Great for our 19 month old son. He LOVES this pack. It looks great, holds his stuff in many pockets. One of the zippers broke after a couple of weeks of use. Our son pushes this up and down our hallway!
the zipper should go all the way around, like a regular suitcase. So it would be easy to access your belongings
This item is very attractive, but it seems to be more like a backpack on wheels than a small rolling pilot case. The main compartment should open up all the way. The fact that it doesn't will make packing clothes very difficult. To avoid sending it back, I will save it for when my pre-schoolers are older and use it for school.
My kids feel really important and ready for school with their names on their packs and all the seperate pockets for their stuff. These were surprises for my Kindergartener and 1st Grader and their eyes just lit up! The idea that they could sneak their teddy bear in there and still be able to pull their own pack without help from Mom, was a bonus.
my son is autistic and is in preschool. we needed a bag on wheels. this is great! the only complaint i have is that the back area by the wheels is very scuffed/worn...already...but it is nice and the embroidered personalization is a very nice touch!! he is a tall 4 year old and this is still a big bag. we get two 3 ring binders in it plus a change of clothes diapers wipes snacks etc!!!! it does get top heavy if you fill it too much but great for the $$$$!!!!
My kids loved this backpack. I was worried that it wouldn't fit in their locker at school. It did! Thank goodness.
The only drawback is that there aren't any straps on it to be carried on the back if needed.
I think this was designed more for traveling than for school.
Also, if my son walks too fast, it wobbles side to side.
He still loves it!
I ordered 8 of these at once for my grandchildren, for Christmas gifts. They are ideal but wouldn't buy them for kids older that 9 or 10. The names are awesome, and these kids are going to love them. They were shipped quickly and the personalization was done beautifully. I can't wait for Christmas to get here.
The color is great and has space for weekend trips and sleepovers. The problem is the lightweight unsturdy handle.
Bought this for my three year old granddaughter. Her newborn sister had received one from another relative. So we were trying to keep things even. When it arrived, I thought it was the wrong one since I was not impressed with the quality. But it was the same...as I stated, cute but quality is lacking. Perhaps spending [$] more dollars might allow better quality. It is cute!
The bag gets unbalanced with any sized item inside. You have to place the front of bag next to the wall to keep it upright.
Loved the looks of this tote bag. However, being it does not have straps to carry on back if you choose to, it really bites when the handle breaks! The left side on the pull handle comes all the way out, really hard to pull your books that away... We have fixed it once, but it has broken again, and we are just in the 2nd week of school. Not sturdy either.

This is not a sturdy pilot case. I feel the wheels are too small. When you try and roll it, it is very wobbly. My daughter has a hard time rolling it. The case is attractive and I like the colors, but I don't think it will last the entire 3rd grade school year.
I purchased this bag for my daughter for school. Third grade. It is very cute, however, the handle that is connected to the wheel system isn't high quality. She noticed right away that there were No arm straps, just a hand strap, on top. I am sure I'll be getting her a new bag before the end of the year. I ordered one from here last year and it had the wheels and straps. That one seemed to be of better quality and it got a hole on the bottom after about two months. I wanted to try this company one more time, but I think this will be it. The bag is ONLY good for younger school aged kid's. IF YOUR KID IS IN PRESCHOOL/K-1. I WOULD RECOMMEND. IT IS SUPER CUTE!
This is a great bag for young ones. The only thing I would change would be for the top to unzip all the way around like a regular suitcase. It is not always easy to find what you are looking for without completely unpacking the whole case.
This is great for young kids for traveling. The kids call pull this around themselves and it fits the stuff that they need.
Needs to be alittle stronger.
Nice little case to take to grandma's for an overnight.
My daughter was excited when I gave it to her and she was so proud of it that she took it to her grandma's house to show it off. She has now used it for one day at school and seems to really like it. Hopefully we can get a few years out of it.
I use this for school and it tips over constantly so not really good for school, but maybe car trips. I just wouldn't have spent the money if I knew it would not stand erect.
The bag is really cute, although it seems to be weighted in the front, and tips over when there is nothing in it, and you are trying to pack!
Bought one each for my two boys ages 4&7 for summer travel which included a trip across country. I basically wanted something that they could put their things in (books, pencil boxs, dvd players, electronics, etc.) and also something that they could handle on their own. I didn't want to end up carrying their stuff and mine. Both boys loved the bags, were able to roll them thru the airport, and they fit perfectly under the seats in front of them on the planes. There was also plenty of room for their things and more and they were able to access their things on their own. The bags definitely served their purpose, and after 3 round trip plane rides and plenty of use, they are still looking and working great!
We have already used this for our son. We have traveled as short as two day trips to as long as a week. This little bag fits lots of things with all its pockets and main compartment.
I was not all that happy with the bag, my child wanted to use it for school but it really isn't made for it plus it does not have shoulder straps. I have had to tug at the handles to get them to go up and down.
GREAT looking! Got it for school, and it sure will make it easy for my son to find his bag, but what a bummer in the function department! It tips over constantly, and doesn't even have shoulder straps (I knew this, but many other manufacturers do at this price) so it only works when it's rolling. Cute, though ... but I thought this would be able to be a workhorse of a bag for the school year. Not so much.
Good buy for the money. Personalization makes it very special for a young kid; also makes bag stand out in the luggage carousel.
I bought this rolling suitcase for my daughter because she needed something for going to see grandma. I was disappointed by the overall quality. I wish the zipper on the main compartment would open wider. It makes it difficult to pack the case with ease.
MY KIDS LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY WON'T HAVE TO LUG THEIR PACKS ON THEIR BACKS.
I great value for the price...much nicer than I expected. I ordered it for my grandson and like it so much that I ordered another for his baby brother. Because they can be personalized...they will each have their own when visiting.
We purchased one of these pilot cases for each of our grandchildren. They are great! This a great gift for grandparents to give their grandchildren!
the pilot case worked great on the airplane for my daughter to store all her things in. She did have a little trouble pulling it down the aisle the side pockets kept catching and tipping the bag. Otherwise lots of space.
This has been my favorite 'new baby' gift for some time now. The parents love seeing their new little one's name in print.
I thought that a [$] rolling pilot case would be sturdy. When my daughter pulls it the case goes off balance and flops from one wheel to the other. She has a hard time keeping it steady. She has never had this problem with other pilot cases that were less expensive!
My granddaughter was amazed to have this. I thought I will now buy one for all four of my grand kids.
This is a great bag. The only thing that I would change is to either make it a little deeper/wider so that more could be packed for slightly longer trips than overnight or weekend trips. Very easy to use and kid-friendly so that a school-age child can even be responsible for "carrying" their own luggage since it has wheels.
These cases are perfect for my three young children (2,4 and 5). They love the bright colors with their own monogram and the size is just right for each of them to pack and carry their own clothes on trips.
MY KIDS SAW THESE IN THE CATALOG, AND THEY JUST HAD TO HAVE THEM. THE PERSONALIZED NAMES WERE THE SINCHER.
THANKS, MELODY
Lasted the entire school year without any rips, tears, holes, etc. Roomy enough to hold books, lunch box and other various supplies throughout the year. Held up through the rain and snow!
