I wish I would have read the comments before purchasing this item. The monogram is ironed on (looks cheap)and it was ironed on upside down at the bottom of the binder and not the top.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Diamond-Quilted 3 Ring Binder:

We loved the way the binder looked, especially with the matching bag, and personalization. Too cute! However, the binder is not really sturdy enough for the everyday wear and tear of a sixth grader carrying it to every class. Where's the quality??? The rings inside started not lining up after the first week, and i'm afaid it won't make it the entire year... too bad!

I thought the personalization of the name would've be sewn in instead of looking like it was ironed on the binder. I felt the personalozation should've definitely been more appealing to the eye.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Diamond-Quilted 3 Ring Binder:

I purchased this for my daughter for school. She put three spirals and 3 folders in it and she can barely open her spiral. She actually has to take it out of the binder in order to write anything in it. We have had to go buy her a new one. Also we had it personalized and it is just a sticker and it came off on the second day of use. Pretty worthless to me.

DISAPPOINTMENT
By NIKKIS MOMVerified Purchaser from LOUISIANA on 8/17/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, Lightweight, Roomy
Cons:
DID NOT LAST 3 DAYS, Wears Out Quickly
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Primary use:
Personal

Comments about Lillian Vernon Diamond-Quilted 3 Ring Binder:

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, AND SO IS MY DAUGHTER. WE PURCHASED A MATCHING SET, AND THE BINDER DID NOT LAST THREE DAYS BEFORE THE RINGS STUCK CLOSED AND THE TRIGGERS BROKE OFF. TOTALLY DIS-SATISFIED. AND THE SILVER ON THE EDGES WAS COMING OFF ON THE SECOND DAY. I WOULD PREFER TO PAY A HIGHER PRICE FOR A BETTER QUALITY ITEM THAN A LOWER PRICE FOR AN INFERIOR ITEM. I WOULD PAY MORE TO MAKE IT MATCH HER MESSENGER, BUT I WANT IT TO LAST. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING ITEM.

Not as described...
By MomVerified Purchaser from NC on 8/14/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design
Cons:
Price, Too small
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Diamond-Quilted 3 Ring Binder:

I ordered this product because of the dimensions. It stated that it was 11 X 3 1/2 X 13, well it's not and it's not even close to that. The height is more like 1". I felt I overpaid for regular binder, I was willing to pay more to get a bigger binder.
My children attend a school that does not allow backpacks, and so every year it a rush to try to find binders that hold up that are at least 2 1/2". I was so excited to find a stylish 3 1/2" binder and then so upset when it arrived just 2 weeks before school started and was not the dimensions that were published.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Diamond-Quilted 3 Ring Binder:

I got this binder for my daugher thinking it would be durable. Does not appear to be very sturdy. I had trouble opening the rings when I added her paper. I like it because it is unique and some other kid can't steal it or try to trade becasue her name is so unique. Nobody else will have the same thing.

I just wish it was made better.
