The backpack was a gift. Suggested the receiver place very light items in the bag to avoid buttons coming off.

My 2 year old got this back pack for Christmas. Its perfect for her things without having to lug a diaper bag anymore. A change of clothes, cup, snacks, diapers and wipes fit inside along with a few toys for her. Its small enough for her to carry on her own. The stitching has come unraveled a bit, but it doesn't ruin the bag.

This bag is super cute and great for day care or pre-school. We even use it when we go to Grandma's house or on a trip to bring special toys and books. The price is resonable since it is also personalized.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Quilted Designer Backpacks:

I picked out this adorable back pack for my five year old, she loved the design, and I thought it would be good for her to take to kindergarten. However it's much smaller than I expected, there is barely room for her lunch bag. I had also hoped that the lining would be waterproof but it is very thin nylon. I will most likely return it, because it isn't very practical, it might be fun to play with, but for the price I paid I would expect something of a bigger size and better materials.
