Bought these to be used by the kids and they are the biggest waste of money! The paintbrushes gunk up constantly and they either have no paint coming out or big globs. I have actually just used the paint with our own brushes and containers. The paint its self is not bad just the design with the brushes (which is why I bought it). I would not recommend for that reason. You can buy just normal paints at a craft store with brushes for less.

I bought (1) of these for each of my (2) grandchildren ages 6 & 3. The paint bottles were too hard to squeeze to get the paint to come out. Even the adults had a hard time squeezing to even get a dribble of paint. Was so hard you could not get a continuous flow of paint coming out. This definitely is not for small children or even older. The children & adults got so frustrated with it, they just gave up. Very disappointing and a total waste of money. This was a disaster for a Christmas present.

I bought this for my four year old daughter for Chanukah. She loves arts and crafts projects and can paint for hours. I was excited that this product would be mess-free and would keep her entertained for a long time. After almost cutting myself trying to open the packaging, I tried squeezing the paint bottles as instructed but no paint came out! I then read that Ineeded to remove small plastic sealers from the bottles, and after unscrewing all eight of the the brushes and removing the sealers, my daughter was ready to start painting. However, she squeezed and squeezed and no paint came out. My husband and I had to squeeze the bottles very hard to get any paint to come out, and my daughter was very frustrated that she couldn't do it on her own. And, every squeeze did not yield a lot of paint, so we needed to sit with her and squeeze the bottles while she was painting. Also, the instructions indicate that the sealers should be replaced on the bottles if you will not be re-using the product within a few days. So, we had to clean off all of the brushes and got paint all over ourselves, unscrew all of the bottle tops, replace the small sealers, and screw the brushes back on. It took about a half-hour to clean up!! I am calling Lillian Vernon in the morning to see if I can get a refund. I am very disappointed with this Parents Brand-Name product. I wish I would have read the [...] reviews before I bought this. They all give the product one star. Do not Buy this!!
