It is a cute mat, & my son loves it along with all his friends. But, after the first wash, it faded. He wanted to still take it to school, so I let him. I will have to find something else though.

the napmat is great, but you need to monogram different than what your doing. The iron on monogram does not stay on, [...]. So now I have to pay more money to have it properly monogrammed on the strap.

[...] The daycare is very cold so I wish I would have purchased a nap mat with a blanket attached. I washed the mat before my son used it for the first time and it looked like it had been used for months.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Sports Star Nap Mat:

I haven't had to wash the mat yet so I can't say how it does, but so far I am fairly pleased. I was definitely disappointed in how short and thin the mat was (my three year old is longer than the mat), but the colors and appearance are great. He gets compliments on it all the time from the teachers, and who can complain about free personalization?!!

Overall, the matt is nice. I did expect it to be a little thicker. However, I had it personalized with my son's name and the letters were only iron ons/glue ons that came loose the first time the mat was washed.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Sports Star Nap Mat:

I ordered this mat for my son to take to preschool. It will be great for his nap mat. We used in once and needed to wash the mat. It was washed according to the directions and the black back-side faded. It looks like it was a hand-me-down that wasn't cared for very well. I will have to find him something else to use at preschool. I just can't send him with this.
