This small secretary desk is very useful and holds a large amount of "stuff." It fits nicely in a small entryway, looks good and seems to be pretty sturdy. Be warned about the bad assembly instructions! Once assembled, however, it's a great piece of storage furniture.

We have a small house, and only one (narrow) spot in our living room for a secretary. Most of them were so huge and tall, we thought we'd never find one that fit (let alone one that we could afford.) This version was not only the absolute perfect size -- down to the inch -- but at a price we could afford. It matches our existing furniture, and is simple, sturdy and attractive, perfect for all our bills and mail. We even easily switched out the knobs that came with it with decorative knobs from the hardware store, to make it an even better compliment to the room.

I love this little desk. It is very sturdy (much better than furniture I've purchased elsewhere that needed to be assembled)and looks really nice in my kitchen. I use it to hold my bills and all my cookbooks. It is just the perfect size too. Small but not too small. Great little desk!

I love the compact stylish design. It has plenty of storage space to use as a bill center and telephone book storage desk. I was very impressed with the quality and purchased another desk as a gift. It looks great!

A fine little desk to be able to house, store and a place to pay your monthly bills. Also has a enough storeage space for it's size to hold past bills, DVD movies. Photo Boxes etc. Small but surprisingly well constructed and designed to sote several items.

I searched for a long time to find a small desk that I could tuck away bills, office supplies, phone books, etc. This was the only piece of furniture that hid everything and still fit on the small wall I had for it, yet didn't cost a fortune. It was a little difficult to assemble- definitely need a second person. I purchased the black and just love the finish.

My picky husband was impressed with the quality for the price. Real wood instead of pressed,printed masonite sets it apart. Assembly could have had better directions and he used wood glue to enforce the joints, but voila I now have a great personal work space for my laptop.

I bought this because of the size. It arrived and a friend and I went to put it together. From the other reviews we must of gotten the worst one made. The drawer was in two pieces. The instructions were difficult because none of the pieces were labled. I just received my replacement drawer this week. It doesn't fit so I need to call again. Also, we built it on carpet, luckily it's going on a hard kitchen floor as it could easily tip on to the kids. [...] but I would have returned this if my husband hadn't thrown the box out.

I get so many compliments on this desk, and it was so simple to assemble that my 13-year-old was able to do it. I have mine in my kitchen, but it would look great in any small space where you need a desk or some extra storage space. You can't go wrong with this desk.

This desk can be used for personal storage in the home, but also works well in an office setting. It fits nicely in my small den, but would also look just as nice in the corner of a large room. This piece can be used in a variety of ways. I use it to store important papers and bills, but it could be used to store books, magazines, or other similar items.

This secretary holds it all for me. I always know where to find those little things that you have in your work desk. The phone books, take-out menus, staples and pens are all held in the secretary.
