This is such a great idea! It is easy and fun and the thing I like best is next Valentine's Day, I can take it out again and reuse it. I had no problems at all with it adhering to my lid. This is one not to pass up. I highly recommend this to the holiday decorator like me.

This is so easy to apply. DO NOT TRY HEAT as per the previous rating. It is a VINYL applique. You will only ruin it. You only need to wet your toilet lid a little and then smooth on the applique. I usually use a towel or washcloth to smooth it out. You may have to lift and smooth a little to get out some air bubbles, but be patient. You will like this product. It is meant to cling not stick. Once it is smoothed on, mine stays on for months. I clean over it with my bathroom cleaner. That's the beauty of this neat product. It's great! I have them in all my bathrooms. I change them out for the season too.

Having much difficulty getting the applique to stick to the sheet. Rubbing isn't enought.
Might try a little heat.
