This scraper was advertised to have a long cord to plug into car outlet to use. The instructions tell you to plug it in until heated, with out putting on a plastic surface (the car dashboard etc.)then unplug it to scrape/melt the ice. This means you need to go out side ahead of time to plug it in, leave it some where where it won't hurt the surface then go back out unplug it to use. Not very convenient, and this process makes the long cord useless!! The scraper itself is very short and difficult to reach on a larger car or minivan.

This just doesn't get through the ice any better than an old fashioned "dig in yourself" ice scraper. Don't bother with this.

I bought 7 of these for Christmas gifts plus one for myself and none of them work. This embarrased me and made me look like a cheap shopper to my friends and family. DO NOT PURCHASE!!
