It's a great idea. Just not made well. The bottom is made of a paper thin plastic. Breaks and crumbles. Wash them and you'll be left with peices. I was so dissapointed.

These slippers seem good in theory, but were quite a disappointment. Yes, they pick up some dirt, but it also carries the dirt through the entire house wherever you walk.
I had them for two days when one of them started to unravel. When I turned it over to cut the string off, I realized the bottom is made out of plastic (the kind you might find in a photo album or sheet protector).
Save your money and use a good dust mop instead!
